Chapter 1: The Tree That Sings
Willow Sparrow loved exploring the woods behind her grandma’s house. Every Saturday, she packed a snack, grabbed her binoculars, and set off in search of adventure. But one Saturday, something strange happened.
As she walked past the oldest tree in the forest — a twisted, silver-barked tree with leaves shaped like little hearts — she heard a soft whistle.
“Who’s there?” Willow whispered, spinning around.
No one.
Then the whistle came again — fweeeeeeet — like a song floating through the air. But there was no wind, and no birds in sight.
The tree was singing.
