Chapter 1

My name is Isadora Bellelover, and this is the story of my encounter with a strange creature known as a Labubu. Now, I’m plenty used to handling mythical beings by this point. After all, my two boyfriends are a Vampire and a Werewolf…but never did I expect to encounter a real live Labubu! Let me tell you now, I did NOT handle it well.

“Isadora, I’m going to be out for the day. The station needs me for something…some strange reports and all. If I’m not back by nightfall, feel free to head to Jason’s house,” my mother calls out, heading for the front door.

“Oh,” I reply, unsure what else to say.

“You know the rules, no letting strangers into the house!” my mom says and leaves, shutting the door behind herself.

“Oh…” I reply, finding myself all alone again.

‘Hey, Edwin, mom just left for the day. Wanna hang out?’ I text Edwin.

‘If I say no, are you going to invite Jason over instead?’ -Edwin

‘Pretty much, yeah.’ -Me

‘Fine. I’ll be there soon.’ -Edwin

‘Okay. Love you!’ -Me

I know he’s not actually coming over soon. He likes to toy with me that way. As such, I decide to leave the house for a little bit. Stepping out, I find it to be raining and sort of chilly. Ugh…

It rains all the time here in Maryland. Every time it rains, the soil gets very sticky, slimy, and gross. I quickly regret leaving the house, but mom is away and Edwin isn’t coming any time soon. Then, however… I notice something strange trapped in a sinkhole nearby…

“Ummm… What the heck…?” I wonder, cautiously approaching.

“Labubu…” the creature mutters dejectedly.

Bloodlines

Ku_Rolet: The novel was good, and I really enjoyed reading it. I love the leads and their bond, but I have one question that confused me. How could Tristan have been dreaming about his mate since he was a child if Omara was already mated to someone else before him? If Kyle had accepted Omara, would Tristan ne...
