Chapter 1

Noise made in a classroom composed by several people with their voices having an odd rhythm and yet in a very blissful environment I somehow find myself voiceless sitting down at one corner of the classroom lost in my thoughts.

Yes that's what happens anytime your the new girl in school , your parents will tell you that everything is alright you will make new friends and we will settle in this city but at the end of the day it's as if your a moving car without any destination because that's what my grandma said to me 15 countries and 7 states ago, before you ask yes I'm staying with my guardian and I never settle down in a particular place which is why I don't bother to make new friends .

" Hey "

And before you know it my thoughts are being disrupted by a son of Adam and then I respond by saying " Hi".

" What's your name?" The son of Adam asks me.

" My name is Leviana"

" That's a weird name, I never heard it before" he said laughing at my name.

' Why won't it be a weird name have you met me I am a walking definition of the word called weird'.

He later introduces himself as Jack as if I cared to know what name they gave such a dumb specie and later asked if I saw my seatmate called Maddie and I gave him my short but favorite reply by saying no and ended the conversation there.

So back to what I was saying before a mortal interrupted my thoughts .

My guardian is my grandma from my father's side, my father died when I was five and my mother disappeared after she gave birth to me, isn't she such a loving mother and fast-forward into 12 years after my dad's death I now find myself back to the place where I was born but in a different city called Sirenna and in the 11th grade of Webchester prestige High school but most importantly I don't want to be a social butterfly like my dad. And now I just realized that I don't know anything about my mom except for the fact that her name is Sylverenne, yes I know my mom's name is also weird I think it runs in the family.

Asides from that I'm starting to wonder who in their right minds fall in love and get married without knowing the family background or anything else about her past life and then I realize that there are a lot of idiots like that, I don't know why the human race is so stupid which is why 90% of the time I don't think I am human. I'm not trying to say my dad was an idiot for marrying my mom but he could have done a better job in knowing her.

Well before I go back into the real world I will have to say this affirmation ' I am Leviana Mason Addams daughter of Noah Mason Addams and I will survive in this world full of idiotic mortals ' , back to my real world for my first class.

I am finally done staying in the same room with a bunch of knuckleheads, lip gloss addicts and people that have been acting as if the only thing they inhale is laughing gas and not air because for every small and little thing I hear the most annoying laughters that goes into my head and I am scared that it might damage my sense of reasoning.

Asides from that I have made the most shocking discovery, my seatmate named Maddie pose as a threat to my personality more people keep talking to me because they want to know her whereabouts which means I have to respond to them an make a small conversation with them. Yes I know I need to find a solution to it and the only option that I have is to obliterate her from existence and due to some reason I can't do that so I am stuck with her.

" Levy, dinner is ready".

" Okay granny I'll be there in a minute".

The only person I truly care about is my grandma, at her age she is supposed to be sleeping in a rocking chair and knitting her life away but she is the most lively person that I have ever met.

" So it has been three weeks since you started this school, have you made any new friends?".

I almost choked on that question because if I give her my favorite reply which is a no, she will feel bad and think it's her fault, so as a creative writer I construct the most beautiful lie and say....

" My seatmate named Maddie is actually very friendly and even though we might not call each other friends officially, we are actually friends".

" Okay , I get where you are coming from because you might be scared to call someone a friend since the last incident ".

" Granny let's not talk about her, she isn't worth it"

" Besides I was just beginning to enjoy my dinner I don't want to lose my appetite because of her".

" Alright, we won't talk about her, so what about this Maddie do you think you can invite her for dinner sometime? ".

Is it just me or today my grandma wants to choke me to death, I mean why in earth will you want me to invite a fake friend that I can't even remember her surname.

" Granny, I don't think that I can comfortably invite her to have dinner with us I hope you can understand? " .

After what I said , I saw the traces of shattered hope in her eyes and that started to make me feel guilty, this is why I don't like getting attached to people, you will always have to try your best not to hurt them which becomes stressful at a point. I think my grandma noticed that I was feeling bad because she suddenly changed the topic.

" So tell me what happened in school today? "

" Do you have any crush? ".

" Granny I think you don't want me to eat my food in peace today " . I said laughing.

" I mean you obviously know that I don't like all those boring emotions called crush or whatever" .

" It is not about the fact if you like it or not",

" As a human these feeling will come naturally".

" Well granny in that case I don't consider myself as a human".

" Because the thought of me looking into someone's eyes for minutes, holding hands as we watch the sunset and whispering the words I love you, all those stuffs make me cringe ".

" It might sound a little bit weird to you at first doing those stuffs with someone but believe me Levy when you find the right guy you will feel at home ".

" Granny the only person that makes me feel at home is you and no one else can do that, not even in a million years to come ".

" Right now you sound like your father, that's what he used to tell me before he met your mother ".

" Granny I am done eating, thank you ".

Before I let my grandma make another sound from her mouth I found my way to the kitchen and washed the dirty dishes and then went upstairs and locked myself in my room. There I was sitting at my bed in my bunny pyjamas staring at the purple colored wall, figuring out how can someone's life suck to the point that her father died at a very young age and the mother abandons the child right after giving birth to her and then I remembered one of my father's favorite quote that he made, he said that ' Life is a mystery ', and right now I can begin to understand why he said so, no one can really understand what life is all about. I later switch off the lights of my bedroom and try to get some good sleep maybe I can at least meet my father in my dreams.

Jack's POV

* * * * * * * * * * *

" Hey Maddie".

" What is it Jack? ".

" The new girl that sits beside you, "

" Is she friendly ? ".

Why are you asking this question Jack? ".

" Well one day I was looking for you because you you were with my drawing materials, and then I decided to ask her if she has seen you ".

" So, what happened? ".

" Her response was cold and from her face it looked as if she wanted me to stop breathing ".

Maddie started laughing and Jack begins to frown his face.

"You think it's funny?" .
