Along, long time ago, The Almighty bestowed is with 3 gifts. The first was a body not unlike his own, the second was a life energy that flows though all living things, allowing us to experience the world in new ways. The third gift was the most important of the 3, for through the third gift, he showed us the meaning of life, love and the way we should treat one another with kindness and respect [(Want to know the third gift? You will have to watch out for me to publish the story; Aruma Side Story: Origin Story)]
There was a time, many millennia ago, when an incident drained all mana or life energy from the land. The soil stopped producing, and many prominent species of animals died off. No one knows what caused it but all human life on the planet began quickly dying. All feared that this was the end of days. But in the nick of time, a great hero rose up and used the strong mana he’d been born with, and created an earthly rainbow, that flowed on the ground like water, restoring the world with a never-ending mana source. Having not had food to eat for so long, the people were very grateful to finally have enough food to eat, so they began naming their countries and basing their societies off the main food grown or the color of the mana rainbow that flowed near to their home. This is how the society and the entire world of Aruma, came to be.
All culture and custom were set based off of the abilities of powerful beings, called Gaishan. These Gaishan had special abilities unique to their family lines. Often a kingdom or nation would be formed based off of the abilities of a Gaishan family. For the abilities of these special beings are what caused life to thrive, and succeed, and a country to form.
Our story begins in the capital city of the Noodle Nation. A place known for its grain and its exquisite jewelry and fashion. Currently the nation officially has two Gaishan. They are the twin baby girls of the current king and queen of the nation. But there’s one Gaishan that all have forgotten. The daughter of the king and the late queen, Megara. She did not possess the family Gaishan art. She was a very small and weak child and was born without functioning vocal cords. So, she sat up in her rooms reading and sewing and trying to find meaning in life. Little did anyone know that her unique Gaishan art would soon rear its head, unable to stay contained for any longer.
