Chapter 1- THE MEETING
I tried to duck my head under the guise of tucking my hair behind my ears.I was flustered and my heart hammered in my chest.I had locked my eyes accidentally with the man I was crushing on.To make it worse,he was my teacher.I had looked up from my book to find him watching me,actually gazing at me with deep secrets hidden in his eyes.And I felt this huge roar rising in my ears and ducked my head.I had a crush on him the moment I saw him.I had felt a connection,some strange thread joining us together. I felt as if I knew him from some other life and strangely it felt as if he recognised the connection too.We were in the magical alchemy class,similar to chemistry class in normal realm,but this was way more interesting.
Everyone thinks of Gold when they hear alchemy.But we were just beginners,learning to manipulate the easiest element- Air.I was trying to get the sense of different gases and how they combine, when he was introduced as the new alchemy teacher for our class.And all I could think was " I know him".That thought rang through my entire being "I know him",and I couldn't look away.
I am Lyra by the way, trying to keep a low profile at all times.I think it is best to just let story unfold.
