The day it happend
Another day at work at the police station and Gerald is on his usual break at Tim Hortons having a bagel and coffee. Few other minutes past and he is needed at the station, while driving he hears on the radio,more people have been disappearing these past few days and no one still knows what’s happening.He then later gets to the station and he says;the usual,yup said katy his co worker,more people have been disappearing.Well thats why am going to solve this case,Katy was shocked,i thought all you do is eat and slack off.Well not this time am going to solve the case,if the detective couldn’t solve it what makes you think you can.I know i just can theres someplace he hasnt checked. Ok whatever you say sir as she left he started to think of where he could start looking so he decided to check the first place of where the first person went missing,he went to the address and saw police tape everywhere.
As he walked in he felt a chill down his spine the atmosphere was dusty and dirty it could choke you, he then searched around the house looking for anything but couldn’t find anything
It was like everything that happened didn’t happen, no luck there. So he went to check a few more places and saw nothing too, as he wanted to give up he then saw a note on his mail box
Come to this address,this was very suspicious so he went there,it was an abandoned warehouse as he walked in a light turned on and saw his family tied up in chairs unconscious he gasped and rushed over to untie them but as he was running a loud voice said stop,he looked and checked around no one until he saw a figure with a red hooded cloth came out and said we’ve been watching you, when you go for work,go for drives we monitor all the polices activities, you must be familiar with the disappearance of people. We are the cause of that as all of his team came out one…by…..one. He then said, we will release your family and forget anything that happened here today but on one condition,you have to work for us.Gerald screamed WHAT THE HELL is going on this…this can’t be real. Oh but it is as the leader said you work for us now you’re going to be BLENDING in.
So do you understand now, he didn’t answer well anyways you don’t have a choice so”take his family back home and make it look like nothing happened you know what happens to people who don’t do their job well they get missing like the others. “So am gonna work for you HECK NO”,dont do your job and your family goes goodbye just like the others,your friends and everyone you love will be like they were never in your life so chose wisely, work for me or let everyone else die.You wanted to solve the mystery but now your part of that mastery and you will not reveal us or your identity to anyone were always watching and i mean always.”.......”.no answer from Gerald which meant he agreed to his proposal.The plan was their always connected to his phone so they can track and hear his every movement. He was a newborn baby being monitored by cameras, The next day…….. ,”Good morning hon,you sleep well,” said Temz,””uhhhhh……yh slept like a baby. So he had breakfast like nothing happened. He went to work like nothing happened . At work he saw Katy and she said “you look so pale are you ok “Am fine he said as his phone buzzed he didn’t answer it. So he just continued as the day went by and as he went home he saw the vet ambulance bus, his dog Coco who looked disgusting, someone ran over her and just drove past her. Then he saw a text message from an unknown number that said that’s what happens when you don’t answer. As he looked at the text his eyes opened wider and he screamed into the sky,he had just lost something precious to him and his family,he got another text to meet up at the warehouse tomorrow night. The next day came and it was the same old routine. The night then came and he went to the warehouse with an angry and disgusted expression on his face as he then stepped he told the leader to come out and ask him why he didn’t know it was him. He then came and said “well that’s not my problem and next time it would be your dear daughter Emily now why i called you here is simple your going to work with the detective and then kill him when he’s really close to finding out who we truly are it would be like dying at the final level of a game and now you have to restart as he laughs psychopathically. He just said ok then left and also the leader stopped him and said “try not to get caught ok?” (laughs good night).
At the police station he met the detective,they both chatted and said they would work together to solve the case,later on they checked the latest missing spot and found their first clue it was on a wall it said MERRY CLOWNS. The merry clones? Wow what an unusual name. Anyways we got our first clue in months .his walkie talkie rang sir we found a dead body its by the station.It was one the members of killers it had a jester mask on their face and a note taped to it that said open if you dare, when they opened they say the person was covered in blood and a substance that was probably acid .He was shot 67 times at the back and head,”oh @#$@% the detective said to Gerald ,now we have to find these guys” few nights past and their bond grew stronger,Gerald then received a text: your daughters life is on the line we didn’t tell you to make friends he’s your enemy . After a while Gerald forgot about coming to the warehouse. He just wanted to help solve the case and set his family free from this nightmare . He then received a call saying come back to the warehouse he then saw his daughter as she screamed daddy! Help,the leader then asked him for any intel on what you’ve got so far. Intel? You never said anything about intel.What? You don’t know you would tell us intel looks like you need to learn how to do your job right, as a gun was then pointed to her head then Pow!,as Gerald looked at his daughter’s corpse .
Then he ran over how could you as he ran over to the leader the gun was then pointed at his head and then he was knocked out and placed outside.Few hours past he woke up on the street and saw a message 1 bird ran over…1 bird been shot……only 2 little birds left keep them safe now Gerald with a smiley face at the side of the text 🙂.He didn’t know what to do he was broken a few emotions left he was tired and was saying its for the family,he said it so many times until he got home then said is it for the family or for me not to be lonely?.He entered his home and saw his mum crying saying Em…Emily…..Emily ….shes mi…missing as she sobs on his chest as he walked through the door he started to put on a different face saying well find her don’t worry. As they couldn’t even fall asleep all Gerald could think of is Emily getting shot . After Gerald left the leader said i only killed his daughter so he could understand the pain and situation he is in.Because he doesn’t seem to understand what he’s doing i will make him join our group, he is the one we need . The day after Gerald started to work out more than usual,he then started talking less but he was doing his job to keep his family safe,after what happened to Emily he started to understand what to do with his life.he was done being the old gerald always joking around he was a new gerald someone who doesnt joke around anymore.After a few days he then got his first task.was to go to the detectives office and gather all the clues and bring it back to the warehouse,he obviously agreed to it,he didn’t have a choice, so when the detective was out on his break he secretly went into his office and started to gather the clues/evidences,in one of the drawers he then found one of the detectives journals.
