Opus was never really daring when it came to new choices. In fact, she was sort of just bland. But this isn't one of those stories where you feel some kind of pity for the boring person. But I can still understand your desire, as some of you hover your mouse to close the tab after all, who wants a story where the big turning point is switching from regular iced coffee to seasonal iced? Neither choice makes a difference, and both are equally bland. Even with me, the voice directly communicating to you, the reader, it's only keeping you hooked for so long.
In fact, I probably only bought the book a minute of your time. So please, even with the boring depictions of the real world you wish to escape that are unavoidable with this first chapter, remember every boring moment, because it might cost you your life.
Opus O’neal, however, is still asleep, blissfully unaware of the refresh button the universe was about to use on her life.
