Prologue: Oasis in Flames
Fresh, warm air drifted in through the wide-open patio doors, carrying the scent of mown grass. Ana stood before her easel. Marko sat at the old wooden table.
"Do you see how unfair this is?" Marko asked. "I try to write about corruption and darkness, and you turn it all into light."
Ana hugged him, gently running her fingers stained with paint through his hair. "Our light exists to fight their darkness."
Marko picked up the dark purple flash drive. "If anything happens to me, only this has the power." The disk was hidden inside Ana’s stone sculpture of a bird in flight.
A few kilometers away, Vukoman Kovač gave instructions. "See to it that nothing is left standing. I need that flash drive."
The next morning, the news reported Marko and Ana as drug users and reckless drivers. Their honor was destroyed. The legal system failed.
Chapter 1: Lana and the Ashes of Memory
Five years later, Isidora became Lana Vojinović. While typing her false name, she could not recognize herself in the screen’s reflection. The warm Isidora was gone.
Decoding her father's message, she read: "He is a wolf in sheep's clothing. Don't engage in a fight, Isidora, engage in a game."
Isidora rose, understanding she had to transform. She created the identity of an elite IT expert and applied for a job at Vukoman's company.
Chapter 2: The Game of Pretense
In Vukoman’s office, Lana stood firm, fighting the tremor in her hands.
"Loyalty is earned, Mr. Kovač. I don't sell loyalty, I sell results."
"We must consolidate all our data, including the files on... the Marko and Ana case."
While Vukoman took a phone call, Lana injected the Trojan Horse—a digital mechanism timed to release the Purple Interview if she was compromised.
Vukoman handed her a file: "I want you to check my inventory, Lana. That damned flash drive, the Purple Interview, is somewhere in there."
Chapter 3: The Unmasking
In Vukoman’s warehouse, Lana made a mistake. Standing by the dusty sculpture of the bird in flight, her faded photograph slipped from her pocket.
Vukoman entered, picked up the picture, and his eyes betrayed his realization.
"Well, well. What is this? Isidora," he said. "It is my duty—to eliminate sentimentality."
He pointed a gun. "You will end at my villa."
The bodyguard grabbed her. Isidora managed a slight smile. "It's too late. I'm already there."
Chapter 4: Hell's Justice
Trapped in the glass villa, Vukoman demanded the disk.
"You destroyed something far more important than their lives—the truth about their love."
"It was a business move!" he roared.
"It was Hellish. And I found the only way to punish you: Loss of control and the truth."
On the TV screen, the stock indices froze and turned red. The "Purple Interview" began to stream.
Vukoman tried desperately to smash the screen.
"You have already paid," Isidora said, holding the Lana Vojinović mask. "Lana Vojinović is dead."
Sirens wailed. Isidora left, leaving Vukoman trapped in the Hell he created.
Epilogue: Peace
At dawn, Isidora stood on the city outskirts. She threw the fake phone, the ID cards, and the purple flash drive into a dumpster.
On the wall of the bus stop, she wrote one word: "Mir." (Peace.)
Isidora boarded the first bus. Her act remained a silent warning: Hell's Justice is sometimes the only path to the truth.
