✨ Introduction — Two Worlds, Two Lives ✨
"Hi, story lovers! Ready for a wild ride? Buckle up, savor every moment, and let's get lost in this tale together! ✨"
🌙 Author’s POV
This story revolves around two individuals—
Two completely different lives, bound by circumstances, pain, and destiny.
One is a girl who has learned to survive without love.
The other is a man who has chosen to live without it.
Their paths cross at a place meant for learning…
but fate has its own lessons to teach.
🍂 About Meera Sen
Meera Sen, a 20-year-old college student, studies at the Central University on a scholarship earned purely through her own merit.
She is the elder daughter of the Sen family. Her life, however, has never been that of a loved daughter.
Her mother passed away at the time of her birth. Later, her grandparents remarried her father, Ravi Sen, to Leela Sen—her stepmother. From that moment, Meera’s place in her own home slowly faded.
She has two step-siblings—a younger brother and a sister—who receive all the love, care, and attention from their parents.
Her father, despite knowing everything, has completely ignored her existence. His world revolves only around his new family.
Her stepmother, Leela Sen, is cruel and abusive towards her. Meera is treated like a burden—given the least importance in the house.
She is provided with minimal food—often leftovers, and only after everyone else has eaten. Many times, she is left hungry. The food she gets is never enough, just sufficient for survival.
Clothes come to her only once a year, while the rest of the family lives comfortably and happily.
Since the age of 17, her stepmother has been trying to get her married off. Many proposals came, but all were rejected—not because Meera lacked beauty or qualities, but because her family could neither afford nor was willing to give dowry.
Despite everything, Meera never complained.
She focused only on one thing—her studies.
In college, she is isolated.
Her worn-out clothes and simple appearance make her an easy target for judgment.
No one tries to talk to her.
No one tries to understand her.
But Meera doesn’t mind.
She doesn’t go to college to make friends.
She goes there to build a future—her only way out of the life she has been forced to live.
“When life gives you nothing to hold on to,
you learn to hold on to your dreams instead.”
📚 About Akshat Mehra
Akshat Mehra, 30 years old, is a Mathematics professor at the same Central University where Meera studies.
He is known for his strict, disciplined, and distant nature.
An only child, Akshat lost both his parents five years ago in a tragic car accident. Their loss changed him completely.
Since then, he has been living alone in his parents’ house—a place filled with memories he hasn’t been able to move on from.
He is financially well-settled, owning luxurious cars and living a comfortable life.
But emotionally… he remains detached.
He does not believe in relationships anymore.
He avoids attachments.
And he prefers solitude over company.
To the world, he appears cold and unapproachable.
To himself, he is simply… incomplete.
“Some people don’t fear loneliness—
they become so used to it that love feels unfamiliar.”
🌫️ A Story Yet to Begin
One lives in a house full of people, yet feels alone.
The other lives alone, yet carries a house full of memories.
Two broken worlds.
Two silent hearts.
They study and work under the same roof…
yet remain strangers—for now.
✨ “Sometimes, destiny doesn’t bring people together with noise…
it does so quietly, waiting for the right moment to change everything.”
👀 But what happens when these two completely different lives finally collide…?
Stay tuned 😉
