YAHW not Allah

Dare a camera man inside Metrosun TV studio got behind his camera with excitement and anticipation as the counts man counted backwords "3 2 1 ACTION"

Before him seated four guest plus the host interviewer Seun. An Islamic cleric sat next to him a pastor next and a sport analyst from the earlier programme and by the end left of the table was Uncle Maro, the in house fire brand political analyst.

Mr Seun read a report of killer bandits attacking a large community of majority Christain in southern kaduna where dozens of people were killed and others abducted for ransom, a clip of the attack was played, he condemned the act and spoke of the government's lack of action to handle the security problems in the North. All the guest were introduced then the Islamic cleric also spoke after him.

"Thank you all for having me here, may the peace of Allah be upon you. It's unfutunate that we are experiencing this kind of wickedness in these times. How can you go and kill another man who do you no wrong? shoot them in the middle of the night Just like that. Prophet Mohammed(pbh) didn't teach this, the Koran did not teach this, Islam is a religion of peace..go check world wide, Muslims are the most loveable people."

"Indeed Muslims are" Seun cuts him.

But you will agree with me that they have been cries that the Islamic world have not been very vocal enough to condemn or do anything to handle these killers using Islam as their reasons for perpetuating evil."

"They are not Muslims", the cleric quickly points out. anyone who does not hid to the teachings of the prophet and the ways of the Koran is not a Muslim..yes we can see them shouting Islamic slogans and speaking Arabic in the video you played but does that make them muslims? the answer is no. They are just misguided souls manipulated to do evil or even hired criminal gangs by politicians to cause chaos".

Seun now directed his attention to the pastor.

"Pastor Phillip Ford of the Word of salvation ministries international(WSMI) you have been vocal on the need for religious tolerance on your podcast. Is tolerance the solution here?".

Thank you Seun, greetings everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and saviour. Yes i still say religious tolerance will eliminate these level of hatred and love for wickedness we see today..you see the bible let's us know we are in the end times, a time of great happenings. Back to tolerance, when we start to understand there is no competition of faith because we serve one God, the competition is created by men for personal selfish reasons. The division brings power of control and money to them. If I respect your religion and you mine, no teacher will be able to convince me that yours is not good so therefore hating to the point of killing you is the way to go about it. Jesus was hated by the Jews and pagans but he still preached to them not with force or insults but with love. Be you Christian, Muslim, Hinduist, Rastafarian we all worship one God the difference is just language and location. The bible says my people perish for lack of knowledge"

"Well said Pastor Ford" Seun added then he went for a commercial break.

As the commercial was going on Dare noticed Uncle Maro had started low tone conversation with the pastor which seems to be a disagreement with the pastor's speech, the Islamic guy was also trying to assist to clarify but Maro was not bulging. The counts man started counting once again and everyone adjusted.

"Well come back, and we are still on the horrific attacks of killer bandits who killed scores of people and abducted many others in southern kaduna recently. We have some respected gentle men on set who are disecting the issues.

Now Mr Maro I see you are edging to say one or two things, what's your take on this barbaric act?"

"Thank you Seun, good day everyone. First I will like to send my condolences to the families of those who lost loved ones in this shame and display of wickedness. Obviously this evil was engineered by persons with wealth, connections and agendas of global terrorist organizations. It vexes me that even still with all these our government refuse to label them terrorist but mere bandits for reasons I can not yet understand"

"But those that really matter at these times, since calling them terrorist or bandits still does not change the fact that they are law breakers" Seun cuts in.

"Oh yes it does matter Seun, a law breaker is a law breaker but level of crimes varies which also attracts different level of seriousness and weaponry force to be applied. Terrorist signals well financed, well armed, even foreign trained fighters that needs top military attention but Bandits signals local gang of criminals concerned with stealing, just thiefs that vigilante security can handle. People may speculate that government officials and politicians may have hand in it that is why the security issue have been somewhat politicised, it is not in my place to confirm that but I will like to address or point out a correction to what Pastor here said earlier.

He said we all serve one God so basically no need for competition. As much as I approve of his teaching of tolerance and one love I totally disagree with the one God talk. I am a Christian and to the glory of God a born again Christian and I dear state it out here that the Christian and Muslims don't worship the same God. Muslims worship Allah and Christians worship YAHW God of Jesus. I believe it is this kind of same God teaching that solidify the beliefs of these extremist that Christianity is a corrupted version of the worshipers of Allah because that is what is written in the Koran" the Imam tried to say something but not coming up with the words on time so Uncle Maro continued, "People say Allah means God in Arabic but that those not mean the God that Muhammad refered to in the Koran is the same God that called Jesus my beloved son in whom I am well pleased. God is not a name but title same thing with King, even a king also has a name. The Christian God identified himself as I AM THAT I AM or call him YAHW, God is not his name but we all know Allah is the name of the Islamic God not just his title. The Koran may teach we worship same God but the bible clearly let's us know that is incorrect".

"Mr Maro don't you think discussions like this is what is actually causing the division?" Seun asked.

"It is the simple truth, when we sacrifice the truth for so called peace, it tends to lead to chaos at the long run when the truth is later discovered.

"The bible never did categorically mentioned Islam to be worshiping a different God"

"Yes it didn't because Islam didn't exist during the time the gospels were compiled, Islam came about 400 years after the death of Christ. During the commercial break my respected friend here, the Imam said Allah sent Angel Gabriel to give Muhammad the message in the Koran via a vision kind manner. Yes i agree that Allah sent an entity but was it Gabriel? No I don't think so. You can go check the Koran, that entity never introduced itself as Angel Gabriel, it was Muhammad's Uncle, the brother to his first wife Kahdija who was a Christian that suggested that entity might be Gabriel since he was a messenger claiming God sent him and the Koran henceforth from that chapter refered to it as Angel Gabriel..It is there..go check it in the Koran.

I am a Christian and my purpose with this is not to cause division but to attain peace with truthful education. The earlier we all start to know and understand the contents of the faiths we subscribe to the better we will be able to tolerate and co exist with others practising different faiths from ours.
