10 Years Later
Kıraç had worked hard in Istanbul and eventually founded his own company. He was now Kıraç the businessman; there was no trace left of the Kıraç from the village.
The saddest thing in their lives was that they could never have children. Because this was due to Buse, she was deeply devastated. She felt a constant sense of unease for not being able to give Kıraç a baby.
Kıraç was well aware of the situation. He showered Buse with attention so she wouldn't feel sad. Even when Buse caused friction out of her own restlessness, Kıraç would always remain patient, understanding the true reason behind her behavior.
For their 10th wedding anniversary, Kıraç wanted to give his wife a massive surprise. He adopted a baby from an orphanage. At the anniversary celebration he had prepared for that evening, he was going to gift her the joy of motherhood—because he knew that Buse’s only heartache was her longing to be a mother.
He had arranged an anniversary dinner at a hotel for the evening.
Buse arrived at the hotel and made her way to the area prepared for her. Kıraç had organized a wonderful and romantic night.
"Welcome, my beautiful Buse."
"Kıraç, what is all this?"
"My love, today is our anniversary."
"Kıraç... I thought you had forgotten."
"Does a person ever forget their most beautiful day? Buse, I couldn’t even give you a proper wedding, but I will turn all the remaining days and moments of my life into a wonderful experience for you."
"Kıraç, I feel so incomplete when it comes to you. I can’t even give you a baby. It’s been ten years, and we haven't been able to have a child. No matter what we tried, we didn't succeed."
"Buse, please don’t talk like that. I didn’t love you so you could bear me children. I loved you just so I could have you by my side for a lifetime."
