Chapter 1
A girl named Aurora used to visit a park often for walks. She loved nature and had a soft, gentle energy.
One day, as usual, she was walking through the park while wearing her headphones. As she walked past a guy named Julian, she noticed him for the first time. He had a calm, positive, and mature energy that instantly attracted Aurora.
From that day on, Aurora started coming to the park every day just to see him.
One day, she finally gathered the courage to approach him.
Aurora said, “Hey…”
Julian turned toward her and replied, “Hey.”
Aurora suddenly got nervous. Her mind started racing.
She said, “I-I wanted to tell you something…” her voice shaking.
Julian smiled softly and said, “Yeah, tell me. What is it?”
Aurora nervously swallowed and, with a trembling voice, said, “N-Nothing…”
Then she quickly ran away.
On her way back home, her mind was filled with thoughts.
What did I just do? I should have told him...
That night, she lay on her bed, staring at the moon while countless thoughts ran through her mind.
I should have said it... What must he be thinking about me now?
Lost in her thoughts, she eventually fell asleep.
The next morning, Aurora woke up early, got ready for her morning walk, wore her headphones, and left for the park.
She walked through the peaceful paths, secretly admired Julian from afar, and then returned home.
Slowly, it had become a part of her everyday life
Then one random day, when Aurora came to the park, she noticed a girl standing beside Julian and talking to him.
Her name was Isabella.
Isabella had a graceful and warm personality. Her gentle smile and calm presence made it easy to understand why people were naturally drawn to her.
A flood memories ran through aurora’s mind—every single day she had come to the park just to see Julian.
She tried to calm herself.
They’re probably just talking... Anyone can talk to him, right? Relax...
But the next day, she saw Isabella again.
And the day after that...
That was when Aurora realized she was slowly losing him.
One day, when Aurora came to the park, Julian wasn’t there.
She walked up to one of his friends and asked,
“Where’s Julian?”
His friend replied,
“He’s at a restaurant.”
Without thinking twice, Aurora rushed there.
But what she saw shattered her heart.
Julian and Isabella were sitting together... on a date.
As Aurora watched them laugh together, she could clearly see the bond between them.
Tears filled her eyes.
She ran out of the restaurant, tears streaming down her face.
When she reached home, she made a decision.
She would never visit the park again.
Days passed.
She tried everything to forget Julian...
But she couldn’t.
Finally, one day, she decided to visit the park again.
As she entered, she noticed Julian and his friends handing out cards.
Confused, she walked past them.
Suddenly, Julian called out,
“Wait.”
Aurora turned toward him.
With a trembling voice, she said,
“Y-Yes?”
Julian handed her a card and smiled.
“Here... my wedding invitation.”
Aurora only heard one word...
Wedding.
Everything around her went silent.
And then...
She fainted right there in Julian’s arms.
Julian panicked.
“Guys, come here!”
His friends quickly brought the car.
Julian carefully picked Aurora up and rushed her to the hospital.
When Aurora opened her eyes, she found herself lying on a hospital bed.
She looked around in confusion.
“What happened?”
Julian replied softly,
“You fainted when I gave you the card.”
Aurora looked away.
“I’m fine... you can go.”
Julian hesitated.
“But—”
Aurora interrupted him.
“Please... go.”
Julian silently left.
That night, Aurora lay on her bed and cried until her pillow was completely soaked.
Then she made a decision.
She wouldn’t let this wedding happen.
She rushed to the venue...
But it was already too late.
Julian and Isabella had already exchanged their vows.
The guests were clapping and cheering.
Soon, they walked out of the church together as husband and wife.
Aurora stood right in front of them.
Her hair moved gently with the wind.
Tears streamed down her face as she watched the man she loved unite with someone else.
She smiled through her pain and whispered,
“I loved him... so I let him go.”
