The Walking CCTV
Exam hall.
Students sitting quietly.
Some praying.
Some revising last minute.
Some pretending to revise.
Door opens.
Invigilator enters.
Slow walk.
Serious face.
Full main character energy.
Suddenly…
Entire class becomes silent.
Even thoughts stop making noise.
Invigilator walks around
like human CCTV camera.
Left… right…
360° scanning.
Even your soul feels watched.
You try to read small chit.
Invigilator suddenly appears behind you
like horror movie ghost.
“What are you doing?”
You:
“Nothing sir… just breathing.”
They take attendance.
But not normal attendance.
Eye-contact attendance.
If you blink too much — suspicious.
If you don’t blink — also suspicious.
Exam starts.
Question paper given.
Students panic silently.
Invigilator calm like
they wrote the paper themselves.
You look around for help.
Friend looks at you.
You look at friend.
Both understand nothing.
Silent communication failed.
One student tries to copy.
Invigilator from other side of room:
“HEY!”
How did they see???
Even CCTV is confused.
Some invigilators walk slowly.
Some walk fast.
But worst type?
Standing behind you.
Reading your paper.
Breathing near your ear.
At that point,
Even if you know the answer,
you forget your own name.
You try to adjust paper angle.
Invigilator:
“Keep your paper straight.”
You try to look left.
Invigilator:
“Look at your own paper.”
You try to exist peacefully.
Invigilator:
Not allowed.
Final 10 minutes.
Students writing like
life depends on it.
Invigilator suddenly:
“Stop writing.”
Students:
“Just 2 minutes sir…”
Invigilator:
“NO.”
Power level: 1000
Paper collected.
You breathe again.
Freedom achieved.
But trauma remains.
And that’s when you realize…
Invigilator doesn’t just watch students.
They watch: your fear , your confusion and
your last hope .
In exam hall,
God is invisible…
but invigilator is everywhere.
