Chapter 1
My name is Hannah Davenport. I live in Los Angeles with my best friend, we both share one apartment. I'm still in college, I'm pursuing my Master degree. But a few weeks ago I lost my job.
You might be wondering, how can someone honest, and passionate like me lose their job? Well I never really had a sufficient job. I worked for my boyfriend's uncle's company. Everything was going pretty well. Till one day.
It was one Sunday June 10 2021. The way to a glow party at a friend's place. Everyone from school was invited. But you know, as the Nerd that I am. I decided to remain home and study for our finals. But my best friend is Savannah. She went to the party. Because she loves parties and hangouts.
I was studying. Then I thought of Eric, my boyfriend. So I decided to call and check on him. But when I called him, his phone was ringing but no one was picking the call. And that was very unusual of him. I kept calling and calling. Then suddenly someone picked the call, and what I heard was “ aaah” it was the sound of a woman moaning. I thought I misheard. Then I put the phone on speaker. I still heard the same sound “ aah, more”. Then this lady took the phone and she went by saying “ Eric is mine now, stay away from him”. Before I could say anything she got off the call.
“ What was that?” I thought to myself the whole evening. When I went to school the next day. Hannah:
What happened last night at the party ?.
Eric :
Nothing happened.
Hannah:

Eric:

Hannah:

Eric :

Hannah:

He asked his uncle to fire me. How could he? He knows that I need this money for my school fees. My scholarship is almost not available. I need a new sponsorship. And it is not easy considering my condition.
I went home. Savanna was there with her boyfriend, they were cuddling. I knocked on the door, I was so lazy to take my keys from my bag. “ hi”. “ what happened “. “ Savanna it is over”.
Hannah:

Eric cheated on me with Nicole. And he asked his uncle to fire me from the company, now I have no money to support my education. Goodbye Master degree.
Savannah:

Hannah:

Savannah :

He helped me to bring all the stuff to your car.
