My half of the universe
"Love the story and the characters. Beautiful writing. I was hooked from the start."
My Halfof the Universe
"As I am known for my homophobic views I loved the story anyway. I was thrilled to sense the way it opened and the way it is because the writing is stronger than anything I have read and the style is good. I think because it is in the genre of the coming of age gay lad and the world of the things which we now take for granted in Europe and not in America might be that the feeling is unique to see what goes on there what has happened why the secrecy the sister has died the lad is about to acknowledge his darkest secret. It is horrendously dark there are dark passages when he is knocked off breathing when the news arrives his father is there almost dead at the news his grandmother who is not owning to facts is now into coffee again. So his half of the universe is life and his sister's is death? Most interesting."
Amazing
"Great writing and I really liked Aaron as the main character I wasn't sure what to expect but I really liked it. You feel for Aaron and in the situation he is in."
Heartwarming
"This is an amazing story, I couldn't stop reading it. With its unique characters and clever sentiment, this story could go far. It needs some polishing, minor punctuation mistakes and paragraph separations, and a few issues with tense. Brilliantly told, well done you!"
WOW . , , , , , ,
"This is a great read. I look your use of figurative language and your writing style. If this book was published I'd be first in line to buy it. Seriously, WOW. Something that you can improve of is formatting your paragraphs correctly. There were also many run on sentences that you could fix. Also, try adding more dialogue, Best regards, Leah"
Movie Material :)
"This is realistic. I only suggest bookmarking www.online-spellcheck.com. It helps me. :)"
Wow
"I expected a good story but didn't expect for it to touch me in the ways it did. I feel I now have more compassion due to your story. I love Aaron and wanted to reach out and reassure him. Your story brought me to tears on a couple of occasions. I thoroughly enjoyed your style and flair. Keep going it is a story that will change hearts and minds, CETurner"
A moving tale
"This is a well written and appealing story which maintain he readers interest throughout. The author displays a real grasp of figurative language and the dialogue is convincing. It is a book which is relevant and moving. Recommended. My only criticism (and I leave it to the author to reflect on its relevance - or not) is that events started to stack up at times. It was as if I could see the skeleton of the story beneath the flesh and there was a consequential loss of credibility."
My Half Of The Universe
"The story was darker than I anticipated but it was still intriguing. The characters were very realistic and the heavy subject matters were handled well. The first couple of chapters were a bit confusing since you were jumping around scenes too quickly but the pacing flowed better later on. Another thing is that you have these huge paragraphs that could either be shortened or broken up since that slowed the story down, especially when you went into the backstories of the characters. Other than that this was good, not something I would normally read but the characters, especially Aaron, is what kept me reading."
Beautiful and Emotional
"I really enjoyed reading this. It made love Anne and Aaron as well as Melissa and Avery. I loved the way you were familiar with Aaron's background, and you could recount it in an easy, flowing style. The story was emotional and very well written. The only thing I found difficult was that sometimes it seemed like some things were jumping from one place to the next, the chronological order not quite clear (but only in the first few chapters.) Apart from that, I really enjoyed reading this. It was beautiful and realistic, with events leading to the next. Nicely written!"
Short and simple
"This one was a real page turner. I read five chapters without stopping. Your unique and original metaphors and outlook on life create a surprising and captivating story. You know just when to introduce an occurrence to really shock the audience (such as Anne's death). Everything about this story was unexpected. At every part you managed to surprise me- there was no indication as to what would happen next, and yet the story was in perfect rhythm and completely coherent. This is perhaps one of the most difficult tasks of writing. Your writing style is very distinctive. Don't ever change it. It is perfectly eloquent and flowery in it's language. Honestly, you have to tell me where and how you developed your writing skills. They're phenomenal. My only side note is that you have some spelling, grammar, and linguistic mistakes. But that's as simple as having someone edit you work. Everything else that you really can't have someone fix you already have. You are truly an exemplary writer. Amazing job, truly."
