Summary

Our Little Mystery Moving to Thailand was the last thing Kaito Nakamura wanted. Forced to leave Japan behind, he starts at a new school where nothing feels like home. On his very first day, he catches the attention of everyone—including Thanawat Srisawat, the one student everyone warns him to stay away from. They argue. They compete. They can’t stand each other. But as the days pass, the line between hatred and something deeper begins to blur. Behind every fight lies an untold story, and behind every cold glance is a secret neither of them is ready to reveal. Can two enemies uncover the mystery between them before it’s too late? Or will some secrets change everything?

Chapter 1 ep 1

Kaito Nakamura slowly opened his eyes and let out a long yawn.

“…A new school life,” he muttered, rubbing the sleep from his eyes. “Kinda shitty, to be honest.”

He dragged himself out of bed and walked to the bathroom. As he brushed his teeth, one thought kept running through his mind.

Will this new school be good… or just another disaster?

After getting dressed in his school uniform, a small smirk appeared on his face.

“Heh… I’m so excited to see this school they’ve been talking about. Tsk…”

“Kaito!” his mother shouted from downstairs. “Hurry up, little brat! You’re going to be late on your first day!”

Kaito grabbed his bag and rushed outside as fast as he could.

“Wait!” he yelled.

The bus drove away without him.

“…Seriously?”

With a sigh, Kaito tightened his grip on his backpack and started running toward the school.

By the time he arrived, he was slightly out of breath. As he stepped into the classroom, every pair of eyes turned toward him.

“Is that the new student?”

“He’s handsome, don’t you think?”

Thanawat Srisawat looked at Kaito for a moment before clicking his tongue.

“Tsk.”

The teacher glanced at Kaito.

“Kaito Nakamura, would you introduce yourself?”

Kaito nodded.

“こんにちは (Konnichiwa). I’m Kaito Nakamura. I’m from Japan. Nice to meet you.”

The classroom fell silent.

The teacher let out a tired sigh and rolled his eyes.

“Alright, alright. Just go take a seat.”

Kaito looked around the classroom for an empty seat before spotting one beside Thanawat. Without thinking twice, he walked over and sat down.

The room instantly fell silent.

A few students gasped.

A girl sitting nearby leaned toward Kaito and whispered nervously,

“Y-You shouldn’t sit there…”

Kaito turned to her, raising an eyebrow.

“Why?”

She glanced at Thanawat before looking back at Kaito.

“He’ll make your life miserable.”

Kaito looked at Thanawat for a second before pointing at him with a confident grin.

“Him? Make my life miserable?”

He let out a laugh.

“Pfft… as if.”
