Chapter 1: Door, Meet forehead.
I walked down the hall, I was taking attendance to the office and was on my way back.
I hate school
I thought to myself.
Suddenly the door I was walking by swung open, hitting me square in the forehead. I let out a whimper of pain as I fell to the ground.
“Oh my God!! I’m so sorry!!” His voice was full of fear. He kneeled down beside me and looked at where the door hit me. “Oh, that’s gonna bruise up. I’m so sorry!!” he apologized again. “It’s no problem...” I said as I finally got a good look at him.
He had big green eyes, hidden behind sweeping black bangs. HIs face was square-ish, and his skin was as pale as mine. He had freckles under both eyes, and across the bridge of his nose. "My name is Sean. What's yours?" He asked as he fished his phone from his pocket. "I'm Bella. Bella-Eve Klint." I said as I rubbed my forehead. "Don't do that. I'm calling my mom, she's the nurse. Then I'll walk you down there." He said as he smiled.
"Hey, mom. Yeah, I know, but I just hit a fairly attractive girl in the head with a door. Her name is Bella-Eve Klint. Yeah. It's already bruising. Yeah alright, I'll bring her down." He hung up. He grabbed my elbows and stood up, helping me up. "Easy. If the world is spinning stand still." He wrapped his arms around my waist Pulling me close. He then picked me up. I smelled his cologne and my heart rate spiked.
That's the same kind of cologne Dad wears.
I thought to myself. As we walked into the nurse, he set me down. "Back here, Sean!!" Nurse Beth yelled from a back room. I sat on a cot, the pain in my head had gotten worse. Sean went back to debrief his mom. they both came to where I was sitting. "You were right Sean. It's bruising, and there is some swelling. I"m afraid you have a concussion, Bella. I'm gonna call your mom, and administer something for a headache." She smiled and stood up to go and retrieve ibuprofen. She handed me 2 mall pink pills, and a cup of water. I took the pills and laid back on the cot. She turned off the lights and tried to drag Sean out, but he wouldn't budge. She gave in and let him sit next to me. Just before I closed my eyes, he was looking at his phone in the seat next to me. I dozed off and woke up to find him sitting on the end of my cot, my feet in his lap, he was rubbing them. He was watching me with careful eyes. My mom got there, and I sat up in the cot. She took me home, and I rested for the remainder of the day.
