I can identify with your story in more ways than one

"Very great writing technique. I love it when you engage the reader by asking them questions why they are wondering about your statement. Second I love the line in the first chapter about how friend tend to leave you when they see you are not skyroketing. Third, I was once suicidal and from the time I realized I had plenty to enjoy in life I said no. And like you have your closest friend, your pet to keep your hope up, I got a violin and started playing. Its something I had always wanted but could not afford, but when I got it I see practise everytime I feel down and it soothes me. Plus got happier and even made friends I never had, joined a band and my life turned around. I also pray you are able to get those verterinary hospitals (whatever they are called hahaha) like the Americans and keep generations of the breed. Thank you Dr. Pupper for your story!"

Informal and intriguing story

"As I read this story, I felt as though I was in the story and could relate to some of the situations. Very nice plot and style, loved how the author could intertwine facts and personal, to make the story lively. Also I love dogs, so the first chapter was my favorite. If this book was published I would buy this product. "

No Suicide

"As I begin reading this story by Dr. Pupper, I kept thinking of the story " Are you there God? It's me, Margaret." by Judy Blume. A heartwarming conversational story between a young girl and God. This is what I felt when reading "No Suicide," warmed by the honest thoughts from a young woman about her life and those she loves. No Suicide is a story that, I feel, relates to how most young people feel growing up, making and losing friends, feelings of not knowing which way to turn in life, but learning to persevere in love and grace."

great

"I read the first chapter of this and thought it was really good. You approach a subject matter with a new look on it. There were only one or two problems that I had with this and I wouldn't even call them problems. I found that you repeated a few words one too many times in a paragraph and I understood why you did it, but it almost seemed unnecessary. That's the only "problem" that I found. Overall it was a good read."

Vert touchy story

"Very touchy story, good work. I agree with you that "the universe has a way to work Everything out if you are positive and dedicated to what want in Life" Please check chapter 4, seems chapter five is within chapter 4."

Interesting.

"You have a nice style of writing. Your subject matter is not something I would typically care to read, but you have a nice flare for descriptive wording. All-in-all I think that you present a very intriguing and thought provoking concept."

Excellent Simplicity

"I like how this book approaches the subject with a simple writing style. It makes the words feel sincere and honest, without unnecessary flowery language. However, the simple writing doesn't feel forced or bad - it reads comfortably and well."

Review

"I really like the inspirational meanings and deep thoughts that are within this piece of work! Although, I would recommend separating the sentences into more paragraphs, as grouping them together might make readers lose interest. Nevertheless, congratulations on writing such a fantastic book and please continue on! :)"

Review of the first chapter alone

"Hello! I read the first chapter of your book, and this is solely a review on it. First of all, I like how you opened it with a prayer. It's a unique way of starting a book, and draws the reader in. You certainly spent a lot of time describing the dog, which is fine, as I assume the dog plays an important role in your therapeutic journey. However, I feel that, since this is supposed to be a self-help book, you should probably focus a little more on how exactly the dog helped you in the first chapter so that the readers get a sense of how you were able to heal. That way, it will leave them with the thought of, "since they were able to get help, maybe I can, too." The dog is fine, as from what I gather, it's what helped you with your healing, though maybe you should focus a little more on your feelings here and your state of mind, and how they changed once you got the dog, rather than what the dog looks like. You have an interesting writing style, and I do like how it seems a bit like a blog. It gives you a sense of connection with the readers, which is good if you're reaching out to them. I would like to know more about this Guru and his role of helping you in your journey. How did you get to know him? What made you want to ask him for help? Why did he decide to give you the dog? Do you think other people will benefit from consulting gurus or other spiritual people as well? What advice did the Guru give you? I'm sure all this information is revealed later on, but some of it should be implemented in the beginning. Perhaps this could be the first chapter, though you could have an introduction about the benefits of self-help before chapter one, so your readers will have a clearer image of what you would like them to know. All the best, -E.S. Paul"

Imagery Overload

"I mean imagery overload in a good way, the description given through all the chapters is detailed and really gives you a feeling as if you’re there. This book isn’t what I normally read but it’s definitely something I wouldn’t mind reading again if I had time to kill."

"A very moving story about how it is to feel "down" with all its nuances and about finding the strength to fight one´s way back up again instead of giving in. Keep writing!"

"Cute topic, but your writing style is disjointed. Think of a paragraph as a small story which makes a point, and then backs it up before moving on to something else. I think you have the makings of a beautiful story here, but you need to polish it a bit. Most books have to be rewritten several times, and I think you are maybe on the 2nd rewrite on this. When describing your dog, you reiterate that 'He's so cute' ... try describing him and bringing his 'cuteness' out as a mind picture, rather than just saying 'he's so cute'. Hope this is helpful."

No Suicice

"This is not typically something I would have been drawn to, but I like the message and idea of it. It's a risky topic, but one that definitely needs to be looked into more. I think there are some times where you need to break up your paragraphs a little more, and there are times where you switch between present and past tense. I do like the letter aspect. I think that's a cool idea. I'm not sure it's executed to its full potential, and there's a lot of repetitive words and phrases. With some rewrites it could be a super cool writing style, though."
