"The way with words, I want to say peotic, but it feels like more. It added so much depth to the story. You could feel the darkness oozing out of the characters."

exquisite

"100% the best book I’ve ever read on Inkitt, and I spent plenty of time here I must say. Dear author, you’re a gem that I accidentally stumbled upon, your writing is so talented that I cannot conjure up the right words to describe how I felt savouring this book, from the beginning till the very end. I also have to note that the usage of vocabulary and grammar constructions are splendid, especially comparing to 95% of the rest of the writers here on Inkitt. Highly recommend to read this masterpiece."

exciting and unique!

"Great story that will keep you on your toes!! I got surprised several times while reading, because the writing in many situations keeps you hoping and sometimes NOT hoping for something that might or might not happen! The descriptions are very beautiful and in many cases almost romantically written, nicely paced and always gives us just enough information to perfectly picture what is happening, the author is doing a lot of variation in the usage of words, which also keeps the story and scenes fresh, unique and different! Specially in the killing scenes. Many of the killing scenes actually made me shiver and were almost painful to read because of the descriptive power of the author! But I loved it! Since it really makes you feel something while reading! "

Good

"Really got me invested. Couldn't keep it down till finished it. But the constant torture of the female protagonist had me irked. Like even after everything was fine for a long time at the end she had to get tortured one last time, I feel like that could've been avoided. People breaking her emotionally and physically constantly left and right no one just her."

Underrated

"I honestly can’t understand why so little people have reviewed this book! It was so good, I couldn’t put it down, I had to force myself to go to sleep. But the minute my eyes opened I was reaching out to continue reading. Brilliant plot, beautifully written. I cannot fault it at all!"

Amazing

"This is simply amazing. When I first stumbled unto this book, I avoided reading it because of the title. The idea behind the plot seemed so strange and different from anything else I've ever read. But after sitting down and actually finishing the book, I was blown away! I had trouble finding stuff to criticize! The metaphors and philosophical what-nots concerning life, death, and an emotionally stagnant state of mind were all elegantly described and the word choice was spot on. Character development was realistic, and your character's personas were shockingly accurate. Just go through the text with a fine-toothed comb a couple more times and fix some grammar issues and typos. But in the end, it's quite a good book."

Good Read

"This was a good read. There were a couple of missing words in a few places but other than that it was very good. Try reading your work out loud and you should find your mistakes easily. Keep writing and good luck in the competition."

Unique and Awesome!

"The idea, and the entire plot, is woven beautifully! While there may be a little issues with past/present tense, the craft was perfected. It was very metaphorical, but not in the way where you use so many that it confuses everyone who reads it. The romance scenes were well thought out, I can tell, and though I haven't read the entire book, I can tell this so going to become a very good novel. Write on!"

An intriguing and original read

"Death Sentences didn't feel predictable or unoriginal once. The imaginative plot is definitely one of the primary strengths of your writing. However, there are things about the execution of the plot that could be better. I have two main criticisms that you can work on: 1. Your writing style is very confusing at times. There were sentences that I had to read multiple times to fully understand them. I think it's primarily descriptions that you need to work on; I missed patient, simple descriptions of the characters and their surroundings that would allow me to immerse myself more deeply in the story. They were either very simple (like describing four characters based on their hair color alone) or a little over-the-top and confusing (like when you described the blood from the biker in chapter 1). 2. An important thing in any story is sympathetic characters. I feel like your MC is very sympathetic in his internal dialogue, he's an intriguing character who is obviously dealing with some heavy stuff. However, it's a little heavy to go through an entire book with an MC who doesn't seem to like anything. Fx I didn't get the feeling that he likes his friends or his brother from their interactions. That can be fixed by spending more time thinking about what his friends are like, making up backstories for them that don't necessarily need to be told to the reader, but it'll give the feeling that the protagonist knows them because, well, the writer knows them. Even if he doesn't like his friends, maybe an appreciation for nature, literature, etc.? These two points of criticism are the primary things that I can point at that would make your story better. As I said, the plot is very imaginative and your main character is interesting. Your dialogue and interactions between characters in general feel realistic, and you manage to build suspense through the first few chapters. All in all, a very enjoyable read :-)"
