The intro
One dreary night as darkness began covering the kingdom of Penadrinn like a blanket, two twin girls were being separated from each other. For fear of the light they share being snuffed out by the hunters of forrest and creatures of the night. Although the king and queen longed for a few more minutes with their darling daughters, they knew of what needed to be done, and made sure to keep the news of their birth a secret. They were taken to the lands that were farthest from their precious kingdom. Tears fell from their eyes as they watched their daughters being transported far away, but they remained with grateful hearts despite that. For they knew that one day they would see them once again. Only their most trusted advisors knew of that fateful night, but it was only the beginning for or two young princesses.
"It is time to come home Natalia!" I woke up in a cold sweat from the nightmare I had just had. Who was calling out to me? And who in the world is Natalia? I tried to go back to sleep, to try and catch the rest of the dream, when my mom called out to me once again.
"Britt! It's time to get up honey! You need to be at school in thirty minutes!" She finished.
" I'll be right down," I responded. Ughh! It's Monday, which in my opinion is the worst day of the week, and I'm not just saying that because I have a math test today. Although that could be partially the reason for my thoughts. I could’ve tried a million different things to stay home today, but my mom would’ve dodged every bullet. And believe me, I’ve tried everything I can think of, but somehow she always figures me out. My mom always says I have a knack for trouble, which isn’t always true. Most of the reason for my cause of trouble is the fact that I am the clumsiest person on Earth. I once caused a food fight by tripping over my own two feet back in elementary school. So even though I am now in high school, I have a reputation for having bad luck! Oh well, at least I don’t have to build a name for myself.
“Brittani Elisabeth Morgan, don’t make me go up there!” my mom shouted once again. Just like any mother she is kind and loving, but man is she impatient!
“I’m coming!” I shouted back, and then rushed to get ready.
