A Brilliant Story
"It was an utterly original story loosely taken from a well-known story. The sisters were all unique with their own personalities, and though it was a bit tricky to remember whether Raia was the artist or the kleptomatic, or if or if the tomboy was Cliodine at the start, as it progressed it was easy to tell them apart. All the characters, especially the king, had layers and depth to them, both positive and negative traits. The king was my favourite character, because he had his controversial opinions and bad decisions, but was willing to change for the better because he loves his daughters. Excellent, and wanting to see more fairy tales from this talented writer! Will buy if it ever pops up in stores."

"At first when I read this book I thought it was the same a the twelve dancing princess.but as you get deeper you see a lot of change in the plot.the author is having a unique style of making humour in a tensed atmosphere. I couldn't stop myself from laughing about the description of what happened to the people who came to win the contest. Altogether it was a humourous and good plot.i loved reading it.the last part is what I didn't expect but it was a great ending."

Having read the Flight Of The Five Swans first (being a great lover of the original tale), I enjoyed that one so greatly I had to read the first book as well! You are an extraordinarily gifted and wonderful writer, your love and passion shines through every line of your fantastic tale. I fell in love with all the characters portrayed in both fairytale retellings at first sight (or should I say read), their personalities, interests, motives and behavior are so well-written, colorful and realistic. Speaking of characters, I particularly enjoyed wily, mysterious Petra and Thaleia the Tomboy - may I ask whether you are planning a third installment in this beautiful series? I'd also like to compliment your marvelous vocabulary, which deserves way more than five stars! Overall this book is a highly entertaining and enjoyable read with likeable and deep characters, breathtaking twists and the perfect amount of humor and drama, and one I would strongly recommend to everyone in search of a heartwarming and exciting tale! "
Adorable
"Depicting seven princesses in one story is no easy feat, but Elysian was able to clearly differentiate all of them on the very first chapter. Their descriptions were spot on and their quirks memorable, and I'm satisfied to see all of them equally contribute to the story, no princess left behind. I love the depth of the main characters and the way in which the supporting ones, like Weston, Valeria, and Ty, were shown when they weren't serving the royal family. I simply love the story! However, another round or two of proofreading is needed. Halfway through, the princesses' bedchamber babysitter, who was first named Justine, had her name switched to Judith and then back to Justine for the rest of the story. While it stopped bothering me once I got used to it, the first instance of the change in name slightly confused me. There was also a lapse in grammar in the last few chapters, so rereading would really help. Other than those two small issues, I'd say the story was absolutely adorable!"

"Hi Elysian, Thank you for sharing your story here! It is eloquently written, warm, moving and full of intrigue. You start with a powerful opening; setting the scene well and then suddenly disrupting the calm with an attack on our main character. The scene where Eralie speaks to her mother for the last time is heart-breaking and you convey the emotion so well that we are drawn into the story. Your professional writing style means that the reader becomes absorbed in the story - I can easily imagine finding this in a book-shop and hopefully one day it will be. Best of luck with it!
