Prologue

"Mommy!"
"Sweetheart, don't worry, I'll be fine, go hide somewhere, okay. I'll be back."
"Okay, mommy."
I heard gunshots firing. I came back in the room and mommy was laying there bleeding in a puddle of her own blood.
I walked over and broke down. Tears were streaming down my eyes to my cheeks then my chin and dropped to my knees.
My dad was at work. Some people with guns they called Hunters barged in my house and started yelling out the family title throughout the house. My mom came downstairs and told me to go hide. I heard gunshots and worried, I came out of my hiding spot and found my mom bleeding.
My dad came and yelled out to her. After that moment, he started yelling at me and blaming me for her death. He told me I was too much of a coward and weakling that I don't have a reason to live.
I'm Scarlet Pharaoh and this is how the dark side of my story started.
