It was night time. A cloudy night sky gracing us on this summer's eve. The moon was full and bright and my heart was heavy and hurt. I had been trailing this con artist for months now. Unable to catch her. It was as if she had been toying with me on purpose. It was our own personal game of cat and mouse. I would receive a hot tip about the next heist or robbery, and I would instinctively go after them. I would pursue it and arrive at the destination of the next big crime. She would lay down her trail of temptation wherever she went like bread crumbs because she knew I would follow them. For months I had been done my duty until my arrival at each scene. Only to be duped and left empty handed. How much longer will I let this temptress escape with yet another priceless artifact? She was a slippery one. I felt like a fool. I would plan it out and go in for the kill. But she would find a way to evade me and get away with the prize. All while mocking me and repeating the same damn sentence each time it happened:

"Nice guys always finish last, Dear Channie boy. Looks like that guy is you!"

Her words echo like an old broken record inside my mind while her porcelain skin and her plump red lips tempt my anger with a sickening saccharine smile. Her condescending wink at the finish line was the icing on the cake. That would do me in and cause a certain rage to boil up inside of me. She may have made a fool out of me, but oh no! That would change tonight. I will have justice. I will bring her in. And I will show her just who will finish last. I have laid out an elaborate plan to beat her at her own game. I created a fake artifact with its own listing online. She was smart, not stupid at all. She would know that it was fake if I had not taken the extra steps to make it convincing. One look at the famous painting and she will be drooling for a chance to swipe it.

I scoff with a cocky smile as I take a small hit of the cigarette between my fingers.

"Sarah, you will be the one finishing last after I'm through with you." I take one last drag of my cig before flicking away the bud. I hop on my sleek black motorcycle and drive off to the undisclosed location I had set up for the trap tonight. A makeshift, fake stage to mirror a realistic showcase. It was flawless and an absolute ingenious plan.

As Bang Chan arrives at the scene, he parks his bike in an auspicious location. He puts the kickstand down and makes sure he has his gun on his person before walking up to the front entrace.

"I'm sure she has taken the bait by now." He slowly sneaks up to the building that was set up overnight to catch his little prey. "Looks like no one else is here. Which is good for me." He chuckled while pressing a button of a hidden telecommunication device in his ear.

"Felix, come in. You read me?" He had called to his partner. Chan reached behind him and grabbed his weapon as he got close to the front door. A few seconds later Felix chimed in onto the line.

"Roger that. What's your 10-20?"

Chan smiled and stood still to respond before advancing.

"I've just arrived. Approaching the front door. I bet our little mouse is inside already." He whispered to avoid nearby disturbances.

Felix chuckled. His husky voice, boomed through the speaker of Chan's secret headset.

"No doubt to snatch up that fake ass painting. So--what did you call me all the way out here for?"

Chan smirked, deviously amused when the younger one asked.

"I want you to go to the second floor. The hallway there has a large window. No doubt my target will try to escape through that route. I want you to hide out there until I've chased her up there. You'll know what to do when she is close." Chan commanded. He was very authoritative in the way he ordered other people around. Chan has always had that sense of control and power. He loved to be on top and do things his way.

Felix sucked in a breath from over the phone. "Sounds a bit boring but I suppose the payoff is worth it."

Chan smirked knowingly. "Oh you have no idea, little brother."

Felix laughs. "Well, I'll leave you to your fun. Over."

Chan rolled out his neck and shoulders and pushed in the doors to enter inside. All of the lights were off. The only ones left on were floor lights for decoration and to highlight the esteemed item of the night. Chan readied his gun, holding it close to him just in case he needed to use it right away. As he got through the front doors, he crouched down to move that way. Using his tactical training to stay on the lookout for the thief. He took a deep breath, looking down each aisle of other miscellaneous items in their glass cases. But there was nothing in them that the Scarlet thief wanted to get her paws on. She had her sights on the old renaissance art standing at the base of the room. Situated amongst the center of a few other larger pieces of fabricated artifacts. As Chan scanned the room, he set his sights on a figure dressed in black approaching the fancy case with the painting held within. Red velvet ropes lines the border of it.

Chan scowled.

"Gotcha." He whispered and stayed quiet, moving slowly as to not alarm her of his presence. He raised his gun, keeping it trained on her. A laser sight lined right at the base of her skull. He waited his turn. Patiently. He allowed her to cut open the glass and slip the useless picture into an appropriate sized bag and began to back away from the empty showcase, but Chan readied the trigger. Holding it until it made a click.

"I'm sorry, Sarah. I'm gonna have to stop you right there."

The figure abruptly froze, as their shoulders relax. They sighed deeply and turned around to face Chan. It was a woman with long dyed dark red hair. And adorned a gold mask embedded with ruby jewels. A fitting stylish accessory for a woman like Sarah. She giggled, keeping a tight hold on the bag.

"Oh, so you're using my real name, huh?" She cocked her head to one side. The redhead remains calm even staring down the barrel of a gun. Only three feet lay between the two enemies. Chan shrugged, letting one of his arms rest freely at his side. Getting into a more comfortable position. He utulized his peripheral vision to scout putting the grand staircase directly behind the thief.

Bingo! That is where she will go. Need to make sure she stays on the path.

"Why not? It's just the two of us here. No need for formalities." Chan shrugged. "Not like your name was hard to find anyway."

Sarah scoffed and slowly went down into a battle ready stance. Preparing for a fight.

"Staying here to chat with a cutie like you seems fun, but...sorry-" She shrugged. "I can't stay."

"Move an inch and I will shoot." He warned her, lifting the weapon up to train it on her forehead. The Scarlet thief smirked, disregarding the order and stepped back. Chan fired off a round, but she ducked down easily dodging the bullet. He ran towards her, gun in hand to shoot again but she round house kicked the weapon out of his hands and across the room. Chan groaned in exasperation, watching helplessly as it landed out of his reach. He whipped back around and lunged for her, but she stepped out of the way. Fists flew as they were both perfectly matched in this synched up hand-to-hand combat brawl. She only laughed the whole time they were fighting.

"Sorry, Mr. Bang. Perhaps if you can catch me, you can do whatever you like to me. But, we both know that won't happen." She teased the hunter with relentless fury. Unashamed by riling up the irritated man with raven black hair.

"Goddammit, Sarah! Give back the painting and perhaps I can get you a plea deal!" He roared, throwing a right hook. She raised her arms up, crossing them in front to block the blow. She was pushed back by the impact. Her heels skidding across the sleek glossy floor. Chan was secretly directing her over to the stairs. Thankfully she hadn't seen through his ruse and was staying on the course.

She folded one arm under the other and tapped a finger on her chin. "Lemme think about that!" She moved her eyes away. "Nope! No thanks." Sarah winked at Chan before turning around to make for the stairs.

Got you right where I want you... BITCH!

He ran after her, pretending to try and capture her there. He had to make this convincing so she wouldn't get suspicious.

"Sarah!" He yelled as another warning. His loud, booming voice echoed within the space of the fake gallery. She spun around and kicked him back. He flew and fell into one of the glass cases filled with antique hair pins. Of course this part about falling into glass and getting hurt wasn't part of the plan. But it made this more believable. He gasped out in pain, slowly sitting up. Chan closed his eyes as he felt the pain. One eye was focused on her running up the stairs. As she got to the top, she went to the railing and peered down at him. Her face plastered with a condescending expression as she wagged her red gloved fingers at him and uttered her most famous line"

"So sorry, Channie. Nice guys always finish last."

She taunted him with an over exaggerated high pitch tone. Sarah dashed down the hall and out of eye sight. Luckily, she was heading down the exact direction Chan meant for her to travel down.

He smirked and got to his feet, brushing off any excess glass dibris. "You sure didn't think this through, did you?" He backed up to grab his gun and touched his fingers to his ear to activate the comms again. "Heads up, Felix. She's coming your way. You know what to do."

˚˙༓࿇༓˙˚˙༓࿇༓˙˚˙༓࿇༓˙˚

[Felix's P.O.V.]

Felix was leaning against a wall, in an offset area where the maintenance closet was located. Perfectly hidden away out of view. His arms were folded against his body and in a chill position. Felix was awaiting Chan's signal to proceed. He could hear faint distant gunshots followed by a crash. It sounded like there was a fight going on below. He moved his head to glance where the commotion was coming from.

"Hm..." He hummed to himself. "I suppose Chan has initiated the job. Guess I should be on high alert." He waited there for a bit longer. Making sure to do everything as intended. As he went to reach for his phone, the hidden device in his ear came alive with Chan coming on the line.

"Heads up, Felix. She's coming your way. You know what to do."

Felix's lip curled up in a smile as he tapped his foot against the carpeted floor.

"Time to get to work." He whispered before pressing the transmission button to respond. "Copy that." Felix spoke with conviction. He slipped his hand into his jacket pocket and pulled out a syringe with a clear liquid.

"Don't exactly know why Chan wanted me to use this, but not my business. Not my problem. Just gotta do this thing and I can go home with a paycheck." He turned it over, studying it before slipping it back in his jacket. Felix started to hear fast footsteps coming down this direction. He knew that had to be Chan's target. "Time to get serious." He stepped back more into the shadows so he could be hidden.

Meanwhile...

The Scarlet thief dashed down the hall, then took a right down another hall with various rooms. At the very end was a wide window overlooking the city outside. She stopped, with a smirk on her face.

"There's my escape route," She laughed. "I'm almost home free!" She rolled out her shoulders and secured the bag on her shoulder, making sure the painting was still safe and sound. "Sorry, Chan. Can't stay and play." She whispered to herself before running full speed down the hall unbeknownst to Felix expertly hiding at the end of the hall. As she got closer, she was gunning for the window. Her plan was to bust through it and slide down on the pipes outside attached to the side of the building. But she felt something sharp stick her neck. It caught her off guard and she stumbled. Someone jumped out and blindsided her.

A deep, velvet voice with a hint of rasp spoke from behind her.

"Sorry, love. I can't let you get away."

The thief held a hand to her neck and turned to face the man, only to find out that it was a young boy. No older than 20.

"W-what?" She growled out loud. "W-who are you?"

Felix frowned and shrugged. He was nonchalant and unamused. The boy had a constellation of freckles across his face that could make him seem innocent and sweet. But he put on a strong facade of intimidation and power.

"I wouldn't worry too much about that, love. Just here to stop you." He motioned towards her neck while waving the empty syringe in the air. Her sharp eyes darted to the object in his hand. Her vision was blurring, causing her to stumble. The other hand holding the bag with the painting close to her. Felix chuckled at her. He saw what she had become and how confused she was.

"W-what did...you d-do to me?" The thief breathed in, feeling her body start to tingle and relax.

"I'm also here to get the picture from you and secure you." Felix folded his arms and yawned, completely unamused by the Scarlet thief's presence. Filled with anger, she lunged at Felix with animosity. She was a wild animal and had enough of other little misfits interfering.

"Not so fast, Sarah" He said her name with poison on his tongue. Felix kicked her with force. Her body twisted and fell to the floor. She continued to feel woozy and mellow at the same time. Her breathing picked up as the room was spinning. As hard as she tried, she failed to regain her composure. Felix walked over and slipped the bag from her body.

"Too bad you fell for a fake." He tossed it aside and then knelt down near her with a sickening grin. He made sure Sarah could see the evil aura coming from his expression. He grabbed her by the hair and pressed a knee on her back so she couldn't get up. She coughed and squirmed, unable to move. The syrum flowing in her system was somehow... changing her mood. As if it were forcing her into submission.

"W-what?" She choked out. Tears formed along her tearducts. "Y-you guys fucking tricked me?!" Sarah screamed at Felix, cursing him.

"That's right." Another voice from down the hall said. They both turned to look. It was Chan coming toward them with a confident grin. One dimple standing out.

"You fell for our little ruse. You ran right into it. That thing you stole isn't even worth anything. It's useless" His gentle footsteps slapped against the hard floor, amplifying the sound that entered the thief's ears. She panted, squirming and writhing under Felix's hold, desperate to claw out his eyes.

"Y-you asshole! You f-fucking cunts! The both of you!" She snarled and cursed at Chan who betrayed her. But she was the one that waltzed straight into the wolf's den. "W-What did you do to me?!" She cried out, feeling as though she could no longer move against her will. Chan kneeled down in front of her and took her by the chin. He forced her to look him in the eyes.

"Nothing much. Just something to help...relax you." He cooed. "Just make it be known that I did in fact-- capture you. You didn't make good choices, Sarah." He winked which only provoked her more. She hacked a loogie and spat at him in spite.

"I hope you choke, you dim witted fuck boy!" Chan sucked in a breath and his head automatically turned away after she did that. A drawn out, angered sigh left his lips as he patted the saliva away.

She would come to later regret that.

"It seems I need to teach you some manners." Chan seethed while licking his lips.

As she and Chan were talking, Felix put her in handcuffs. Then he got to his feet when Chan gave him the signal to get off of her.

"Don't struggle," Felix added gently. "It will only make it worse for you."

Sarah began to laugh maniacally.

"Oh you think this will hold me? I'll get out. This won't be the last you see of me." Her mouth creepily curled into a haunting grin. "And then--I will come for you both!!"

Chan reached down and yanked her up by the hair to her feet. She didn't make so much as a peep as her face said it all. Pure unadulterated rage.

"You will be going away for a long time. I was going to be nice to you, but..." He tilted his head and gawked at her like a hawk to a fleeing mouse in an open field. Eyeing her like a T-bone steak at a 5 star restaurant.

"I think I will play with you for a while. Felix, you've shut off the cameras and things, right?" He looked over at his young companion while keeping a tight grip on the thief's hair. Felix folded his arms behind his head. "I sure did. You can do whatever you want with her. It's not like there're any time restraints." He shrugged and zipped up his jacket. Sarah's heart dropped actually scared of knowing what was going on.

Due to the syrum flowing through her veins and her body she couldn't move that well. Her eyes lit up in fear as she looked between the scheming bounty hunters.

"W-what? W-what do you mean?" She asked. Her voice faltered as she spoke. Chan looked back into her eyes with a kind of primal hunger.

"Hm. May I remind you of what you said earlier while you were being a cocky little snake?" He yanked her close by her hair. His mouth an inch from her own. "You said I could do anything I wanted to you."

She gasped and tried to fight back but Bang Chan was strong.

"N-no, I was kidding!" She giggled. "S-surely you knew I was joking...right?" She pleaded with furrowed brows.

Chan poked the inside of his cheek with his tongue and shook his head. "No. I don't think you have learned your lesson. You'll be tamed once I am through with you."

Felix grabbed his things and headed down the hall. "That's my cue to go! She's all yours. I'll pretend I didn't see anything." He waved at Chan. Sarah squirmed more, watching the receding back of the boy.

"N-no!" She shrieked loudly. Chan roughly pulled her along by the hair.

"Let's go to a more private room." She kicked and screamed all the way there, only feeling even more mellow as time went on, not knowing this newfound sensation she was feeling. A mixture of anger, hurt and...

Seduction. A part of her enjoyed the fact that he was being rough.
