"Elyren's journey, as told by the narrator, is remarkable and poetic. The tale is an epic fantasy, rich in history and wonder, a true gem. I personally love the author's artistic writing style... each word like the stroke of a brush. I also applaud how well built the world is and wish that I could do the same. It's as if they've developed their own world of mythology. The author truly has a magnificent start, and once polished a bit more, it will shine like no other. "
Elyren’s Destiny
" In a world far different from our own, lives a child with the destiny of becoming a great sorcerer. He is influenced by Seer Savi and as a child even tries to attack him in his thirst for magical knowledge. Lord Arwell tries hard to control the fate of his son by enrolling him into the military. But it quickly becomes obvious that Elyren is not a man who can be controlled by traditional means. This is a very particular world that Vin Wintergreen builds quite carefully and skillfully. Magic abounds as well as a feeling of grandeur and legendary history. This novel has that same hopeful sense of awe and wonder I felt when watching the early Star Wars movies (But this is not a science fiction work. It is strictly fantasy) Grammar was superb. I could find no technical errors. Elyren is an intense read, but ultimately enjoyable. "

"Overall, i guess it was a good read, but it seemed like a biography, i couldn't point at at first, if the book was in first or third person, i feel some chapters are in first person and others in third person, which i find a bit confusing, it didn't really seem like a story to me, it seemed like a biography, not my type of book, but overall, it was good, there wasn't really grammatical mistakes and i like that"
Impressive Vocabulary and Technique
"I thought this was a uniquely written book in that it's written from a narrative perspective about the life of Elyren. From what I gathered, Varta is an Immortal, who chronicles the life of a human man by the name of Elyren who holds great power concerning magic. The descriptions and imagery are well-written and generally easy to follow. From what I've read, there's not much dialogue currently in the book, but I assume that's due to world-building and catching the reader up to speed past Elyren's childhood and early adulthood to the 'meat' of the book. There were certain points within the novel where I felt that Varta was speaking more about his own life instead of Elyren who is the title character. That's the only issue I would advice the author to be wary of when writing a narrative such as this. If this is, indeed, an account of Elyren's life then I don't particularly need to know too much about Varta outside of his encounters with Elyren. The technical writing skills of the author is quite good. Some of the sentences could be rephrased to help with the flow of the novel and others are a little awkward, but overall, the writing is pretty grammatically sound. There isn't much distraction with errors."

"The story is definitely a good start. There were a few grammatical errors including what seemed like an unfinished sentence on the second to last paragraph of the first chapter and some run on sentences. The idea is unique. I've never seen a concept quite like this before. The voice matches the time era especially with excellent diction to match. Good luck with the rest of the story, this is a good start. "
