"This tantalizing excerpt has me pining for more. The wolf tale written takes the typical tropes and chucks them out the window by creating a whole new wolf world. The setting feels historical with the names and terms used and yet modern elements are thrown in. Like many good stories, the details are trickled in with just enough description and they are slowly but steadily revealed. If you want an upfront, in your face plot, this isn’t it. As an excerpt of a larger work, it is tight and concise and certainly begs for me to buy the rest of the story. I only found one errant punctuation mark but then again, I was too entranced with the story to bother looking for more."

"I was left guessing for answers all throughout and given very few. I am super intrigued and loved the world building in the story. It really did transport me to another world and had me wanting for more. Lora has done an amazing work here and I will definitely be reading up on the rest. 💙"

"The tale of Evie has already been blessed with some interesting twists. Characters are already well drawn, and the plot is moving forward with excellent pacing. I can't wait to read the next chapter and find out which wolf is Evie's fated mate. Even more important will she allow her own talent as a witch to blossom? Hmm that sound like a great blurb, and I would urge anyone with an interest in wolves and romance to give this one a read. Now that I've read the re write of this novel, I'm even more impressed with this author's work. Emotions are torn from the reader, and she regularly sends shivers down my back as the plot develops. I would recommend this book with its complex well woven plot to anyone who loves the werewolf world."

"With the amount ready to read, this story has a great start to it! The preface was good, although it gave away a few things before I had the chance to read it, but I wasn't mad about it! Even with the amount of information given in the blurb, you are still captivated by the story. I really enjoyed the writing style, I am big on this genre (I write and read it) and was taken in by the author's style of writing. However, I would say, even with this story not being done yet, that going through and fixing up some of the major grammar things that take away from the reading experience. I am well aware of the need to finish a project before getting all of that done, but I do recommend fixing up some of it so new readers can enjoy it once through and then going back for the big stuff. Overall an interesting, intriguing, promising start to a potentially great novel! Can't wait to read more! "

"This book was beautifully written and with a lot of great description! The only problems is, the blurb and preface give away too much of the story, meaning some of the things that happen aren’t a surprise to the reader. Although the plot is great, as it is revealed a lot in the preface and blurb, some people may not think it’s as good as it really is. The blurb is great, but maybe add a more open question, leaving the reader pondering many different outcomes of the story, rather than a question with just yes or no as an answer. Your writing style is great but as for the grammar, I recommend you read through your book a few more times, maybe out loud, so you can spot the grammar mistakes. There are quite a few minor errors that can easily be changed. The reason I only gave you four stars for your overall rating is partly because of the grammar, which pulls the reader out of the story every time they spot a grammar/punctuation/ spelling mistake and partly because you have a little too much away in the blurb and preface. Overall an intriguing, full of suspense novel that I would recommend to anyone!"
