"Wow. A quick short story you can't put down till it's finished. We done Author. When I started reading I thought oh no a survival story, I dislike the tv shows. I bit more could have been put in this however, as you went from them landing to 4 weeks in. Overall 9/10. Well done I highly recommend this if you want a quick read. Thankyou author."

"This was amazing! I loved the characters and really the whole story. It had me holding my breath and silently rooting for the main character. I loved the mixing and mention of other popular myths and legends and this story revolving around one. I normally don't find stories that are like urban legends particularly interesting but this story was simply captivating and impossible to put down. Can't wait to read the other novels from this author!"

"Honestly, I read this book because of all the badges on the cover. Figured it had to be doing something right if it’s winning all of those awards. And...wow. It lived up to the hype and then some. If you’ve read this author’s work before then you know that she paints a picture with every word, but honestly scoping through the writing on here, each bit of phrasing and every piece of diction and syntax was perfect. It was like an example a professor would give you of great work, except it’s a bear 20 chapter example. Really well done. Fighting The Harrowing for the top spot on Inkitt. "

"Fantastic! This short story was an incredible joy to read and had me on the edge of my seat. The pace was fast in some places and normal in others giving the story such a realistic feel. Almost as though you were in the story and experiencing everything along with the main character. I loved the descriptions and the plot was perfect. "This was so goooood. It kept me glued till the end, horrified too and more than ever terrified of camping. Such a gripping tale that leaves you guessing and agitated and the suspense—phenomenal! The dialogue and the entire reality show concept shows how much detail and work the author put into this, and so did the pacing and the addictive storyline. Kerri is such a fantastic character, loved her right from the onset, especially with her reservations about Darren being a 'freelance survivalist' from the beginning, almost as if she sensed things would take this turn on some level. This story should, if it isn't already, be in your reading list. It's a fantastic story that's well written and just pumps you up! If there were more stars, I'd add them."

"It's rare for me to read a book on Inkitt in one sitting. Today I sat horrified biting my nails as I read the entire book as fast as I could scroll down the pages. When an upstart reality survival show runs up against a legend of horrific proportions it makes for a terrifying confrontation for Kerri when she finally figures out what was going thump in the woods. And that is all I'm going to say about the plot lines. Read it yourself and tell me if you will ever go camping in the woods again. This one needs to be published. Go for it!"
