Chapter 1

A sound of splashing water filled the forest. Someone was stepping on a puddle. She had a yellow raincoat, blue pants, and a mushroom umbrella.

Her name was Amy.

Planet Ranae was what she called home. Filled with forest and massive mushrooms, it also included the most unusual animals. One being the frogs that lived there.

They were not like normal frogs. These frogs could be so minuscule that you could accidentally step on one. And so large that mountains were not as big as them. They also came in many shades of colors that normal frogs could never compete. Among the frogs, there were also fireflies. Amy was admiring one when a massive beast hopped in front of her.

The beast in question was a giant red frog. It had boiling warts and evil red eyes that looked like pools of blood. Amy thought that it would leave her alone as most frogs did. But instead, It lunged at her. Amy ran.

She ran like she never ran before. Amy was a yellow blob moving throughout the forest. The frog hopped after her at a similar speed. After a while of running, Amy found a cave and ran Inside. It had vines cascading from the top and a large tree was in the center. Amy turned around to see if the frog had followed her in. It was right behind her.

Thinking quickly, she found a group of tiny frogs and began to throw them at the beast. The frog was not happy. And it came right at her. Luckily, Amy was clever. She grabbed a sharp vine from the ceiling and prepared for the oncoming attack.

The frog unfurled its huge tongue and tried to eat Amy. She stabbed the frog’s tongue. The frog backed away, croaking in pain. Frightened by the croak, Amy also backed away. But she didn’t see the tree behind her.

Amy tripped and she let go of the spear. It went flying. Up high into the air until it hit the ceiling. It was broken. Seeing the chance, the beast advanced on her. And it was about to eat her whole.

That would have been the end of Amy if she didn’t kick the frog in the eye. The beast bellowed a horrible cry. And it ran away. With the beast gone, Amy left the cave. That’s when the sky filled with a bright light
