Since the time I have started reading historical romances, Elizabeth Hoyt is one of the authors I keep returning to. Her books are just so beautiful. And 'The Raven Prince' is the first book she sold as a published author to our great delight. It's also the first book in the Princes Trilogy series. The Raven Prince - A Blurb

Since the time I have started reading historical romances, Elizabeth Hoyt is one of the authors I keep returning to. She is one of my favourite authors. Her books are just so beautiful. And ‘The Raven Prince’ is the first book she sold as a published author to our great delight. It’s also the first book in the Princes Trilogy series.

Now this book is so crazy; I love it. I mean, just hear me out. Our heroine, Anna Wren, has financial problems like most of us. And she decides that she has to find employment like any other sane, logical and normal person. Love that for her.

Then she meets our hero, Edward de Raaf, Earl of Swartingham, for the said employment. And she becomes his secretary. All very proper and honourable. And then, she decides that she will also follow our hero and ensure that she meets hers and his ‘other’ needs also. Uhm… what now? 😯

I loved the book. Loved the characters, except for the villains. Hate, hate, HATE them. But all the other characters. They are so lovely and relatable. There is Anna, who wishes to experience more than what society and her family expect of her. Then, Edward, who has lost so much, finds solace with Anna, but those past experiences don’t let him be at peace.

The other characters of this world are so amazing, too. I could say so much about them. But, then, we would never reach the story. Let’s begin.
