Angel Encounters

**********************************************************************

Hi there to all who maybe now peeping inside to enjoy this story. I wish to be called "

unknown

" because I do not carry a name. I want to tell you a story one like you have never heard before, I hope you will stay and listen. Lets follow up on a young girl by the name of Nickky, this is her tale.

**********************************************************************

My name is Nickky Roseheart. You see I grew up in a small town in a tiny country on the map. Time passes by so fast these days things always happens so unexpected. While growing up I was told so many stories of fantasies and fairy tales. But the stories I enjoyed the most was the stories about angels and demons and there forever battle between themselves. Angels always seem to fascinate me the most. To me they were the most wonderful of beings because of their ability to fly so high in the sky and soar among the birds on their soft feathered wings. Sometimes I wished I could have been one of them because the time here one the ground was so boring I wanted my life to be filled with excitement. But due to a sudden change of fate my life would never be the same again.

It was quite a warm evening as I had remembered. I had just knelt down to pray in front of the alter of the chapel. It was quite an old church built in the fifteenth century and was the highlight of my town. The church was huge on the inside, adored with old traditional candles everywhere and the smell of pine wood, to give it the old rustic feel. When suddenly something crashed through the church's stained glass window. The glass pieces shattered against me and impaled my flesh deeply. I thought I was going to die at that moment and cried in pain. I fell on the ground of the church bleeding out on the wooden floor beneath me. I could feel the strength slowly leave my body with each moment that had passed. With whatever strength I had left I looked across from where i was laying in a pool my red blood. What had crashed through the window was right in front of me, I crawled towards it dragging myself a little closer. Whatever it was it was tangled in the church curtains and was trapped within it.

I hesitated a little as I removed the curtain over whatever was under there, I closed my eyes hoping that whatever was there wasn't dead or covered with blood. When I opened my eyes I saw it was a man adored in all white laying unconscious, as I remove the cloth from around him I was so shocked by what I saw. As I threw the cloth in a corner I saw white soft wings on him also he was also impaled in the leg by a piece of glass. He was indeed an angel. At this point I was losing a lot of blood everything I had on was stained with blood. But this angel was hurt so I decided to help him because it was the right thing to do. I pulled out the piece of glass from his leg but as I pulled it out I also cut myself but it was okay. I then quickly treated his wound by wrapping my rose patterned scarf around his leg and pulling it tightly to stop the bleeding. On the angel's neck was a necklace with a rose with angel wings it was so pretty.

"Wow even you like roses too..."

My voice soft and weak as i spoke. I smiled a little as tears rolled down my cheek.

"Maybe...maybe this is my fate...

My last words as I collapsed in my own blood. The last thing I saw was my rose bracelet as I blanked out. Everything went completely silent for a split second then I felt no more pain. Ah this is what it must feel to be dead I thought. But suddenly something soft tickled my cheek causing me to open my eyes. My eyes widen at what I saw before me. All the glass on the floor of the church was gone everything was cleaned up. I looked at my hands and my clothes they were not stained with blood anymore. How was this possible I thought I was going to die? Was I dreaming? Then a gentle voice spoke from behind me.

"Are you okay? And thank you"

When I turned around it was the angel that I had just helped. He sat casually on the church pew.

"Umm... no problem"

My heart raced faster than a race boat at full speed.

"Firstly, I must apologize for putting your life in danger."

"No um I don't know what to say...'

"I didn't expect anyone to be involved when I was fighting that demon, no humans suppose to be present. Its a lucky thing I found you in time or else I don't know what would have happened,"

He gave me quite an unhappy expression but he the grabbed my hands to give it a quick squeeze.

"Weird things happen all the time. Am I right?"

"Thats..."

I couldn't shrug off my emotions and I started to cry somehow I couldn't stop my tears from flowing.

"Thank you for saving me..."

"Its okay don't cry its okay."

He hugged me trying to comfort me from what I experienced. I felt safe within his arms, so after I had calmed down we sat down and spoke a little.

"My name is Adam and I know yours is Nickky right?"

"Hey how did you know?"

"Special mission I was given."

"Umm what?"

He went on one knee and held my hand handing me the necklace he wore.

"I promise to protect you as long as I live, no evil being nor heavenly being will hurt you. This is an angel's promise. I will watch over you and my sword shall be yours. I will be your guardian angel from sunrise to sunset this is your fate"

"I don't understand whats happening."

My head was filled with all sorts of questions. But before I could say anything he hugged me tightly and bid me farewell.

"Don't forget the promise okay."

He caressed my cheek then flew off on his soft majestic wings. He rose higher and higher into the orange pink sky then so he was out of sight. At that moment I realized my life would not be the same anymore. Would anyone one believe me if I ever told them?
