Simple Yet Elegant
"The story is simple in its wording and sentence structure, but it is that simplicity that makes it special. The plot is slow pace, and so it keeps you on your toes with every chapter ending. I could feel the emotions of every character in the book without the writer telling us straight forward with words. It's so realistic that more than once, I have caught myself imagining the scenes happening in front of my eyes. This a story that could happen to any of us in the world and that in itself what makes it more special than any I have read before."

"So this review will be about the first twenty chapters that I've read. That's only a 1/4 of what is written but still, I think that I can say that the story is a slow-paced romance novel with the casual drama that you would see in one of those family sitcoms. But either way great story as it has few errors and is stimulating enough to keep on reading. I'm going to finish soon!!! Good job author."

"I enjoyed the overall concept of the plot very much. I had some difficulty with the timing as people seemed to transport across miles to be in another state several times. I found much of the dialog repetitive as the characters retold their stories. Even with the negatives, again, the plot was well thought out and kept my interest. "
Great start!
"Having read through the prologue and first seven chapters, I see that we are following two characters that are very troubled. Both are quite angry, generally speaking, but not without reason. The plot has a good moral message, and I like the choice vs problem theme that you are writing about. I think that applies to other things in life other than substance abuse, like mental illnesses. Some people who don’t experience addictions or obsessions have trouble understanding that these things are an actual diagnosis and not a choice. Your approach and how the characters experience this is an intriguing factor of the story. I was confused about the toxic relationships, though. Maybe that’s explained later in the story, but considering we’re in the POV of the two main characters, I think it would help to have a better understanding as to why they are in the relationships they’re in from the get go. I especially don’t understand Zane and why he’s with Marsha. I think a little clarification on that would help the story a lot. All in all, great stuff! Keep up the good work, author :) "
