The ocean
I'll prbably never know what happend to that kid. After they fell i never heard them hitting the ground. It's somewhat conforting to think that they might still be alive somewhere and that we might find them, then again it might be a fate worst than death.
With no real other options we must press forward trough the only door at the end of the bridge, but it seems we'll lose another person by doing so since the parent wants to stay, clinging to the futile hope that they're not lost.
Moving on, i went trough the metalic door first, and arrived in a small square room made of metal with a red light glowing above where I came. A strange feeling overtook me as i realized that the wall oposite to the door was misisng and revealed a vast ocean covered by a cloudy sky, with no sings of life to acompagny the waves. The floor was covered in water, and it felt rather nice despite what the bracing breeze indicated. The others followed and soon everyone was in that cramped box.
The sea was calm. It's peaceful quitness accompagnied by the consistant sound of the waves is relaxing. It seemed to go on forever, and maybe it did, with no one capable of ever knowing. As much as i looked, the sun was nowhere to be found. In an almost intentional way the waves just past the edge could take anyone in its grasp, almost like it was made this way so nobody could go past.
I went to see the edge, and at the end of the room the floor dropped abruptly into darkness. Looking carefully outside of the confined space revealed that we were on a small island that the the box was built inside of, but i couldn't see the top that was a few meters above us. Looking more intensely made me notice a narrow ledge about a foot deep in the water going from the room to the other side of the island. It seemed as tough we had once again no choice but to follow the path.
Since no one else wanted to, i went first again. The water was colder on the ledge than in the room, making it unconfortable to walk trough, but i still persisted and arrived before another disconcerting door.
