¿Estoy loca o solo soy diferente? Tengo miedo de saber la respuesta, sobretodo porque creo saber cuál es.


Eso pensaba mientras tenía su vista fija en las estrellas, pensando en que no podía hacer ningún paso en falso a menos que quisiese terminar en un manicomio.


─¿Aún funcionará Cantarrana? ─se preguntó en voz alta. Ese era el famoso lugar al que su madre le amenazaba con enviar cuando era pequeña, de unos cuatro o cinco años. Tomó su teléfono y comenzó a investigar, solo para toparse con la sorpresa de que nunca existió tal lugar─. Vaya mierda, me estafaron. ─volvió a mirar al cielo. Preguntándose si en verdad estaba loca sin causa, y si en su “círculo de conocidos” no existía alguien igual o peor que ella.



Probablemente sí. Por si no lo habías notado, tu familia es todo, menos normal.



Dijo la voz de su cabeza. Realmente no era una voz de esas que vienen con la esquizofrenia, esas pertenecían a su padre. La suya solo era como su conciencia, ruda y poco empática a veces, y en otras, más gentil, pero con muy poca empatía. Tal vez porque ella también era así. Desde hacía poco se había percatado de que aquellos lazos sentimentales que tenían los demás, a ella le costaba sentirlos, y lo único que conseguía era una obsesión enfermiza ¿Se debía a algo hereditario o social? ¿O sólo era que aquellos no valían la pena? En cualquier caso, podía ser posible. Tomando en cuenta que sus familiares, por ambas ramas, paterna y materna, tenían una que otra falla técnica. Su padre hablaba solo, se inventaba situaciones y juraba que habían pasado, porque así él lo crecía. Pero lo más gracioso, o al menos para ella, era el hecho de que creía que era un buen manipulador. Oh no, ahí fallaba ¡y con honores! Ese, era el fuerte de ella. Podría lograr convencer a alguien de ayudarle en un asesinato y luego a ocultar el cadáver. Continuando con su familia, primos ladrones, asesinos, uno que con doce años clavó un tenedor en la cara de su hermana menor, solo porque ésta le estaba mirando mientras comía. Ese primo estaba muerto ahora, y esa niña, ya una adulta, vivía en Europa.


─Cuidado mundo, que hay más peligros en ti de los que piensas. ─ ahí, en medio de la oscuridad, sopesó las posibilidades si su familia llegaba a salirse de control─. Aunque ya lo ha hecho anteriormente. ─susurró.
