Ratna was in the kitchen when she heard continuous ringing of the land phone of Shantivan...
'Anjali..Anjali..Hari Prakash..Om Prakash..' She was almost screaming everyone's name but there were no signs of anyone..She huffed seeing no one responding to her call...
Coming out of the kitchen she annoyedly said, 'Where is everyone?? Can't anyone pick up a call in this house..everyone is useless..'
Khushi hurriedly came from upstairs, 'I will pick up Ma..'
'No need..' Ratna rudely replied and picked up the phone..
Khushi was about to leave but her feet stopped hearing Ratna's crying voice.. 'Chote...'
Khushi looked at Ratna with surprise..She couldn't hear the other side of the phone but she was hearing Ratna's over enthusiastic voice keenly..
'Really chote..' ..She paused to hear the other person's response...'Really?? Are you saying the truth??..' Ratna said with tears...
'Ok..ok beta..' saying that she hanged up the phone and wiped her tears..
'Arvind ji..Arvind ji..Anjali..Ma..Anjali..' She started calling everyone with an overwhelming voice...
'Ratna, what happened?? Why are you screaming like this..' Arvind Singh Raizada said coming out of his study room..
She ran towards him and held his arms..'Arvind ji, Arvind ji..' she was almost out of her breath..
'Ma what happened?? Are you ok??..' Anjali asked worriedly seeing her mother's condition..Deviyani also came to the huge living room of the Shantivan with the help of one of the house help and asked.. 'Ratna..what happened??'
'Ratna, you are making me worried now!! What happened, answer damn it..' Arvind asked holding his wife's arms..
'Chote, Chote called...' Ratna said with difficulty..
Arvind was little shocked hearing this as he knew Ratna is the only person Arnav calls once in a blue moon but every time Arnav calls, Ratna cries a lot, this was the first time she was so happy after his call.. He was wondering what his son said that made Ratna so happy.. He smiled and asked , 'Is he ok?? What he said??..'
'He is coming home..my son is coming home ji..' Ratna said with a big smile..
'What?? Arnav..my Arnav coming home!!..' Arvind asked as he was not believing his own ears..
'Ma, are you sure he said that?? Chote is coming home??' Anjali said with slight tears in her eyes..
Ratna looked at Anjali and said, 'Yea Anjali, yes..Our chote is coming home.. He will be reaching tomorrow evening..'
Ratna went near her mother and hugged her, 'Have you heard Ma, my son is coming home..My chote is coming back..'
Deviyani broke the hug and cupped her face..'Yes beta yes.. I will offer food to all the beggars in the mandir, will send money to the orphanage..Finally my prayers are answered..Our chote is coming back..'
Anjali went to her father and hugged him..'It's time to be happy dad, why are you crying..'
'I can't believe that.. I can't believe my baby boy is returning home..' He said hugging his daughter..
'Your baby boy is no longer a baby boy Dad..He is all grown up, MBA from Harvard..' Anjali said giggling..
'Doesn't matter how grown up he is, he will always be our chote..my baby boy..' He said wiping his tears..
'Enough of crying everyone, my son is coming home after 8 years..Get ready for his grand welcome..' Ratna said with a smile..
'Yes, we will decorate the house like a bride, will make everything he likes..' Anjali said going near to her mother..
'I will ask Hari Paraksh to clean his room..everything should be same like he left..' Ratna said..
'Yes Ratna, we have to make sure everything is perfect.. I will go to airport to pick him up..' Arvind said with a smile and left from there to hide his non stop tears..
'I am going to fix his room with Hari Prakash but before that I will take Nani to the mandir..'saying that Anjali left with Deviyani..
When everyone left Khushi also took few steps towards her room but stopped hearing Ratna's voice.. 'Khushiii..'
She turned around and looked at Ratna..Ratna went closer to Khushi and said, 'You must have already heard, chote is coming back..'
Khushi nodded and smiled slightly, her heart was beating very quickly..
'If you think it's a request then it's a request..if you think it's an order then an order or if you want you can
take it as a warning..' Ratna said in a stern voice ..
Khushi gulped hearing that..fear, sadness, worry a lot of other emotions were consuming her heart and mind..
'Stay away from him..Don't you dare to come near him..' Saying that Ratna left..
Khushi looked down and went to her room with sadness..He is coming back after 8 years, 8 years since that night, 8 years since they met last time..How will he react seeing her after 8 years.. Will he remember her?? Will he remember what happened 8 years ago?? Will he say that to anyone??..She hopes not!!
