Andrea's POV
I am just a normal girl with a normal rich life. I only love one thing about me, that is my eyes. They are either bright like the sun or dark yellow like gold. I kind of like my brown red hair to shoulder length, I don’t like long hair. I need a haircut soon it is a bothersome. I usually just stay in my room reading books but I wish I had a phone. My father says phones are a waste of time and are very distracting. I am not allowed to go out or make new friends. He has told me that in life, friends you only need one or two. If I must have friends, I have them right in front of me my two maids Sandy and Mary. In three days he has a very special surprise for me. So I am counting down the days hoping it is something good. This is weird I am locked up in the luxury bathroom with my two maids… Well I guess I should say friends... I don’t know… I don’t feel a strong connection with them much.
Mary pinched my cheek while having a stern look on her face. “Young miss.. Andrea are you listening?”
I had a confused look rubbing my cheek “Huh sorry I was lost in thought. So why are you measuring my body for?”
Sandy said, “It is your fathers orders sorry we can’t tell you anything it’s a surprise.”
Mary, “I was asking is there something you want to do after we are finished here? We still got six hours left for your graduation ceremony and still to early to get ready for.”
I tell them with a kind tone, “I’ll just be in my room reading my books.”
Mary was measuring my body and Sandy writes in a small brown notebook the details.
Andrea had an annoy look, “How much longer until we are done here? Both of you should know I am just a plain simple average girl. There is only one thing I want in life...”
“We know what you want.” Mary finished putting the measuring tape away on the tray. “It is an adventurous life where you get to explore the whole world.”
Sandy with a small smile expression says, “I wish you could escape your life your in. I know we tried to help but we always failed.”
Mary sighs with a grin, “I hope that the surprise your father is planning will bring you a new happy future.”
Andrea with a puzzled face looks at Mary, “What are you talking about Mary?”
Mary with a soft low voice, “I am sorry… I spoke to much.” With that she ran out of the bathroom.
Sandy sigh having a trouble look, “Please young miss don’t ask us anything it is hard enough to prepare you for your surprise.” Sandy writes more into the notebook then closes it and puts it on tray. Then she grabs the tray of stuff and scurries out of the bathroom.
After Andrea calms down her mixed feelings she leaves the bathroom. She searches the house for her two maids. She finds them in the kitchen.
Mary was eating at the table but stands up looking at Andrea. “Young miss did you need something from us?”
Andrea puts her hands up and shakes her head. “For the three days I have before whatever surprise is in store for me... Please leave me alone... I’ll be in my room locked up by myself... Waiting for whatever is coming to me... I want to spend it in my room with my books... Only come in if you need to fetch me or there is something from my father. Other then that I want to be left a lone thank you.” With that Andrea left to lock herself up in her room.
There was two hours left for the graduation ceremony the maids went to get Andrea ready. They got her black summer knee high dress it was covered in hearts. Then they got her white gown to be over her dress. The hearts really showed through her gown which was what she wanted.
Andrea pleased with her choice of dress with excitement. “See girls! I told you this ugly black all cover in hearts dress will be amazing under the gown. I no longer have a plain white gown. My dress really gives it more color with the hearts.”
Mary finished putting her cap on says, “Your right but it will be splendid if you kept it plain white nothing showing through the gown.”
I says, “I hate anything to do with just plain all white clothes.”
Sandy with a smirk looks at me, “What would be your ideal wedding dress?”
I was in a surprise, “Why ask so randomly?”
Sandy, “We are curious.”
I say, “It shouldn’t be all one color. I want it like Belle dress from Beauty and the Beast yellow and golden and not all puffed out. I would add some flowers on the waist line something that pop out, maybe white… It can be white roses! It seems my dress is yellow and golden then white flower roses will be perfect. Just picture it white roses on front of my chest line from shoulder to shoulder and across the waist line. Also my dress must be sleeveless. I will have white gloves that the sleeves past my elbow close to my shoulder. Get married in the most beautiful amazing garden saying just I do not repeating all the vows stuff or making our own.”
Sandy was behind Andrea with the notebook writing some more stuff down.
My smile reached from ear to ear, “It must be small. Just the people important to me and who ever I marry to. You two girls as my bridesmaid and my father walking me down the isle. I want to dance with my future husband throughout most of the celebration. I can just picture a handsome loving strong guy. On the wedding day he will wear his black tuxedo with a white shirt underneath and not wearing a bow or a tie even if to match my dress color. So simple just right.”
Sandy with a sad smile says, “Time to go young miss. Not to be rude but your wedding sounds very average and so simple. I think it is going to be boring.”
I say, “Well you two ask for my vision of my perfect wedding and this is how I want it. Not grand and luxury. I am done with this rich, fake happy life. I say average normal would be my true happiness.”
We all headed downstairs and saw my driver patiently waiting in the living room. I went into the limo then headed off to the graduation ceremony all by myself. After the graduation ceremony was over I was walking a lone and sad back to the limo. I saw everyone in groups taking pictures. Soon I was out of the field and went straight to the front of the building. I felt a stare and a chill on my arm. I looked around and walked towards the feeling pull. I didn’t know where I was going but something was pulling me to a near by tree. There stood a man I have never seen him before. I smiled then walked slowly to the stranger. My happiness grew and I was smiling wider from ear to ear the closer I got to him. He makes me feel warm and tingly inside by his stare. I want to know who he is and to feel him. Then the wind blew and dust got in my eyes. When I open my eyes he was gone. I looked around then I became sad, I frowned. I walked up to the tree leaning against it where I saw him. I sat down hugging my knees to my chest. I cried for a while, I didn’t know why, I couldn’t help it. I got up then walked back to the limo. I was looking out the window. Who was he? I thought I saw blue or yellow eyes I don’t know hard to tell. He was handsome looking. I felt warm and happy for a brief moment. I want him but I don’t know him. I wish I could have seen him better to remember how he looked like. Why do I feel like this?
Once I was inside the house I saw my father sitting in the living room. I sat on the couch in front of him. I stared at him thinking, I need to choose my words carefully not to upset him.
I give a small smile to my father looking into his eyes, “Father I was wondering if I could go find a job now? I did graduated and all to be able to be an assistant. I got second place to be an excellent assistant.”
My father looked at me with a stern look. I do not know what his thinking I wish I knew. In a cold tone, “We agreed you will work when you got first place. It was to be for Master Corp but seems you didn’t get it. Now we will see what happens with you in three days.” He grabs the brown notebook that her maids were using to write on. “First of all I must leave in a bit to hand in this notebook. Second trip I do today what a waste of my time. So I won’t be back for a while. I can’t believe he is making me do this honestly… So pathetic.”
Andrea with a confused look, “Father what is happening in three days?”
He just looks at me with an unreadable expression with a voice so cold, “You will see. All you have to do for now is pack all your stuff. In three days your leaving and not coming back hopefully forever. You will soon see what surprise I am giving you soon. You may be excused do whatever you like to do.”
I give him a sad smile swallowing a lump to be able to speak. I think my voice went soft not heard able, “Father I love you have a goodnight.”
