Chapter 1
Hey, there.
I see you there; you don’t think you can hide, do you?
I think it’s cute when you think I didn’t see you run behind me!
Sap me from behind that bush I dare you.
You see me alone, but with a cocky grin.
Loaded with the right gear, but I’m an only cloth to your leather.
I hear your creeping footsteps from the woods, and I let you think you got me in your grasp.
A single twig cracks and that is where you trip up.
A rush of blades a messy display of a slice and dice timed wrong.
A kick to catch my smite but you don’t get my solace.
Your dirty tricks and shadow dance only postpone what you know will be the end.
Shadowstep to dodge my penance, just to dot you with pain and then I fade.
You grin and leap up with daggers baring down on me, a leap of death from above, fine.
You slam down thinking it will be me but only to see it is my void tentacles pull you into the face of my shadow fiend’s hungry face.
You cheat death once more, but you can’t recuperate forever but I can.
I yawn at your feeble attempt to leech me with piety poisons.
I throw up my shields and sit back on a bench watching you wait for it to come down, but little do you know I got a stack not seen to you.
Did you ever think to check my spec?
Your eyes look dim, and there is sweat on your brow, you’ve met your match.
A lazy toss of pain onto you once more and you toss out a fan of knives.
My mind sear spears you as you vanish only to dispatch me then double back with a kidney shot and render me to my knee with a sudden rupture.
You cloak once more as I stand to purify myself and go into my spirit shell and flash heal up.
Out of nowhere, you strike in a flurry; your shiv is sharp with your excellent use of your preparation you hit and hide once more.
My grace falls on me, and I shield and heal.
You got eyes of fire starring me down as my last heal beats off me and my shield drops from me.
Marked for death and at your mercy, I breathe heavy, I will feel your vendetta soon.
You leap, and with the last of my power I let down a cascade and with my saving grace and desperate prayer.
I feel my body light up with enlightenment and leap of faith off the cliff nearby as you lunge.
My shield holds as you blades slices at me, missing my throat by a mere inch.
I am saved by my levitate as I watch you fall, you got no tricks to protect you from this fate, just death.
