Retelling one of marvel’s greatest duos- Bucky and Steve. The story is based on Bucky’s past, but rewritten to be Steve’s. Steve Rogers stared at the enlistment letter. He sighed, not knowing how to tell Bucky. He could lie- tell Bucky he signed up for enlistment, and wasn’t being drafted. But Bucky wouldn’t understand. Even though he was small, Bucky longed for the fight. He wouldn’t be happy that Steve was leaving, but it would be better for him knowing that it was Steve’s choice. So, Steve made up his mind. Even though it would hurt, he was going to have to lie to his best friend.
