Chapter 1
“If I vanish one day... would you still wait for me?”
“Always. Even if I forget how to breathe.”
They both laughed that night, barefoot on the dock, fingers entwined. The lake reflected stars like shattered glass on black ink. Neither of them noticed how still the water had become. How quietly it listened. As if it already knew.
Here taehyung was in his dreamland where he used to see the same screen, same words, same promise he made to someone he love the most.
A tear escaped from his closing eyes. He hate it. He hate his life. He don't want to live anymore after losing him. But he also love his grandmother and his friend jimin. He doesn't want to hurt him.
He woke up with the same sour heart and blood red eyes. And got ready for the last day of his degree. He saw himself in the mirror dark circles and cheek bonus starts visible. He ignored them and leave for his college.
AT COLLEGE
The students where roaming in the corridors and classes were decorated. Everyone was so excited for the celebration escape one person Taehyung. Jimin was also excited but he felt sad whenever he saw his friend with blank expressions.
He knows about his past and want him to forget and moveon from it but taehyung would never ever able to and never want to forget his love Jungkook.
Jimin tried everything he could for taehyung to make him smile just for a while but it is like he lost his smile with the incidence in his life. But jimin never stopped trying it.
There were multiple performance like dancing, singing, ect. Then the actual moment came where every student gets his graduation certificate. Everyone was happy....but taehyung sat there with blank face.
"The next student who got 95%...the handsome boy named Kim Taehyung. Give him a round of applause...."
Jimin tap on taehyung's shoulder to gain his attention. Tae show him..."it your turn tae...go~"
Jimin said and push him to the stage. He went up on the stage and took his certificate and photo and down and directly went to jimin "I will leave now.....I have to go to Daegu" he sound more like wishper.
Jimin understood him and gave a nod "I will come with you to the bus stop". Taehyung gave a nod in return. They both went to taehyung's apartment.
Taehyung took his bag which where already packed and jimin helped him take another suitcase. They locked the door and gave it to the owner.
"Take care of you taehyung. And call me anytime if you are in need of help" said Mr. Jung the owner.
Taehyung said thank you and both bow to the owner.
They reached bus stop...jimin checked the time of the bus...and sat beside tae..."so,is this it?...when are to going to come back?" Jimin asked
"Don't know...." He left this head and saw jimin "I have to take care of my halmeoni...she is getting sick"
Jimin noded "okay then tae...I will visit you after my auditions" taehyung didn't said anything.and again there was silent for 10 mins and the bus arrived.
They both got up and jimin give a tight hug to tae and said "called me anytime, i will be available for you" with a slightly crying voice. They aparted "take care of your halmeoni and yourself as well and say hi from me to her...bye" tae just eye smile and nod and got into the bus. And jimin stayed there till the bus disppaear from him sight.
The journey is of 3 hours, he sat in his set looking outside the window. He started thinking about Jungkook and slowly slipping into the dreamland away from this world.
Jungkook was like the beauty face with a beautiful heart. Taehyung fell for Jungkook again and again when ever he observes his doe eyes, pink lips, button nose and the that bunny smile and that laugh of him.....he miss him so much... when ever he think of Jungkook, he craves for Jungkook touch, hug and his voice....
Taehyung had met Jungkook the summer before. Jungkook was strange in the most captivating ways—always writing, always observing, always alone. He had this old soul aura, like he belonged in poetry books, not real life.
“You always watch the lake,” Taehyung had said once, teasing.
Jungkook turned to him, gaze far away. “Because it watches back.”
Jungkook wrote poems about loss, longing, and the kind of love that felt like drowning. And Taehyung, the boy who never believed in fate, found himself spiraling into each verse like it was a heartbeat.
Once he wrote a poem for taehyung...
They where sitting under a tree beside the lake..their usual spot. Jungkook started reading the poem...
I’ve seen stars burn out and skies go grey,
Still, my heart learns your name each day.
In every lifetime, storm, or sun—
If love is war, then you’ve already won.
Not just in laughter, but in fall and flaw,
I choose your silence. I choose your awe.
If home is a person, it’s always been you—
So here is my promise:

After finishing the poem Jungkook looked at taehyung....taehyung was having happy tears...tae slowly bend forward to Jungkook and attach his lips to Jungkook's lips...and slowly started moving it...he doesn't want to rush as it was their first kiss...the kiss was tender with no involvement of tongue..they aparted as there was lack of oxygen...
Their first kiss was shy. Their laughter was louder under moonlight. They stole moments behind boat sheds and under trees, like the world was too loud to let them love properly.
Taehyung woke up and saw he was about to arrive to his destination. He got up when the bus stop came and got down from the bus.
He decided to walk from there. After 15 minutes of walk he got reached to his grandmother's house.
