In an unassuming town, much like one you know, on the eighth day before Halloween, several cloaked figures slink through the quiet streets at witching hour. Veiled in darkness and fog, each figure holds a stack of papers they silently secure to posts as they pass. On random lampposts scattered through neighborhoods you wouldn’t want to have to walk through at night, the crinkled advertising pages call to the unsuspecting:
Come one! Come any…. Except for the faint of heart! The Master proudly presents: The Devil Rides, Halloween Carnival! From the depths of Niflheim, terrors you’ve never dreamed of have crawled forth and will converge at the Demon Den Fairgrounds to give you the most terrifying experience of your life! Jump on a carnival ride in hopes of outrunning the ghouls stalking you! Journey through the maze of horrors and pray you are lucky enough to escape with your life! Gorge on fair food and concentrate on not losing it! Adorn your most athletic Halloween garb and be ready to run! Join us on Halloween if you dare! Families welcome while the sun is present. As the sun sets, the ghouls will come out to truly thrill. Take care not to lose your head.
