Chapter 1
“Sometimes you just have to go with the flow. “At least that’s what Ms. Pat always told her twin daughters. Ms. Pat was a kind lady with the luck of the Irish. She was always with and around all different kinds of people, some very elite. Even with all her connections and elite contacts Pat still went to bed an unhappy woman. Where everyone seen her as popular, lucky, or connected; Ms. Pat seen herself as a token, and this thought remained in the back of her mind with every fake embrace she had to share with her “Elite” friends.
“Mom wassup wichu, you been acting shady?” Kindle asked while flipping her grill cheese sandwich. “If I didn’t know any better I’d think you were a spy”, she joked with Pat. “Can’t be to sure” Pat replied. Pat really wasn’t stunting Kindle this morning, this morning was special. Them girls won’t blow me this morning hunny. My day made, and with that thought Pat was on her way.
The underground parking lot was always full of cars waiting to drive the tokens to their destinations, so the cars were always ready.
Ronald seemed stressed about something so I was dying to see what was up with him. He’s usually leveled out and hard to read so seeing disparity in his eyes yesterday was not an easy sight, so I hope it’s nothing to heavy.
He just got his wife to accept me into the organization, so the least I could do was show a little concern. The story with us is very eventful but I’ve definitely earned my rights around here. It take a special type of woman to fill my shoes. I’m still a working progress but have come a long way from where I started from. Kate says I don’t deserve it but of course Kate says that, right. I’m not really paying her no mind these days. It’s a lot bigger than her and her presidential lifestyle. Girl, scoot over!!
I play my part though since shit going how it’s going right now.
I avoid the bitch for the most part, though.
Right now it’s so much going on with the girls getting older and everything. There are conversations to come that I’m not yet ready to have, and that damn Kindle gone be a problem. I’ll figure it out I’m sure. Right now I gotta put my game face on because it’s what’s been getting us by. I will continue to do whatever i have to to make sure my girls get everything they deserve. I stamp that!
