The Night Before Hallows
T’was the night before hallows, three friends went for a walk.
They stumbled across a shack, and thought they should stop.
A peep through the windows, and nothing in sight,
They creeped open the door, to find an unknown fright.
“Bzzzzz” Ravens phone lit up her pitch black room. She was resting from a long day at school, her blackout curtains were drawn across, she rolled over from the far side of her bed to grab her phone from the nightstand. She sat up and hunched over to read the text from her friend “I’m tired of studying, can we do something-Elly” her long jet black, pin straight hair swooped in-front of her face she swiped it behind her ear and began responding to her friends text. “I’m tired too, that’s why I was trying to nap” send. She plopped back down in her pillows.
“Bzzzzz” she reached over for her phone, dreading the thought of going out again. “Pleaseee, my brain hurts and you need to get out of bed anyways, I’ll text Remy and see if he wants to join us! -Elly” Raven didn’t even bother responding and just set her phone upside down on the nightstand.
“Knock, knock, knock” she heard from the front door. And not even 10 second later again but louder this time “Knock, Knock, knock”. She annoyingly rolled out of bed to stop the noise. She opened her bedroom door and headed over to the front door, Nova her dog followed.
She opened it up to see curly hair fiery red, and a friendly freckle face, with glasses framing emerald green eyes. “Oh yay you’re up now, let’s go!” Said Ellynore, she reached over and grabbed Remy’s elbow, and pulled him into Ravens sight with a smirk on her face. Raven looked up and seen Remy’s coffee brown curly hair, matching his eyes with the same smirk on his face, “Yeah let’s go!” He said.
“Fine, but I’m bringing Nova.”
