Chapter 1 the jump

Hi readers this story has different ending so enjoy reading.

> It was midnight when I threw myself off the highest building.

Why are you asking me why? What is life, anyway?

I didn’t jump to die — I just wanted some air. Maybe peace. Maybe silence.

I didn’t even remember climbing up there. All I knew was: the view was beautiful.

I wish I brought my camera.

To save the moment.

But I came here to lose one.

> Funny, isn’t it? You don’t realize how alone you are… until there’s no one to wave goodbye to.

No friends. No familiar voices.

Family?

What even is “family”?

Just a word we throw around to feel less empty.

A wife and husband raise a child — but that child becomes something else. Not love. Not loyalty.

Just another stranger who one day walks away.

> That night, something inside me shifted.

I should’ve died.

Instead — I woke up.

Mid-fall, I became aware of every breath in my lungs, every muscle in my body.

Time didn’t stop… I did.

I wasn’t just alive — I was awake.

I could feel the blood move in my veins like rivers. I could slow my heartbeat. Control my body.

I had power. Real power.

But no purpose. Not yet

💉 Chapter Two: The Girl in the Hospital

> I saw her in the hallway. Pale skin, wires in her arms, and fear in her eyes.

They were going to take something from her — a piece of her body she didn’t agree to give.

I broke through the hospital window like a ghost.

Not for justice. Not for heroism.

Just because… I couldn’t watch her lose something when I already lost everything.

> “Is she your wife?” someone asked.

“Your sister?”

“I’m her brother,” I lied.

“Then why save her?”

“Why not?” I whispered.

> She survived.

They told me I could see her. She was sleeping, bandaged but breathing.

I sat beside her bed.

And for the first time in forever, I felt something shift in me again.

She opened her eyes the next morning.

“You saved me,” she said. “Didn’t you want to kill yourself?”

I smirked. “You’ve got a strong memory. Impressive.”

> “Whatever,” she muttered. “Just don’t follow me. Or touch me.”

> “Fine,” I replied. “Just don’t die again. It’s exhausting.”

❤️ Chapter Three: Love Hurts the Awakened

> I stayed with her. For weeks. Months. I watched her laugh. Cry. Breathe.

I didn’t love her like the movies.

I loved her like a man who had nothing, found one light in the dark…

…and knew it couldn’t last.

> My power grew, but so did the weight of it.

I could hear lies behind words.

Feel pain through people’s skin.

I knew too much.

I saw life not as a miracle… but as a cruel pattern.

And love?

Love was the final lie.

🔚 Chapter Four: The Final Choice

> She left one day. Disappeared into a world that didn’t want me in it.

And suddenly, my body — the one I controlled so perfectly — felt heavy again.

I wasn’t a side character anymore.

I was the story.

And I hated it.

> So I climbed again. To the same rooftop. Midnight. Full moon.

> But this time, I wasn’t afraid.

> This time, I knew.

> “I saved a life. I tried love. I mastered myself.

I did everything.

And it still hurts.”

> One step forward.

> “Goodbye.”

💭 Epilogue 1of 2(Optional Ending)

> They found no body.

Only a single photo — taken from the edge of the roof.

The city skyline.

A note written on the back:

“The view was worth it.”

💔 That Side Character (Updated Concept)

> A man who awakens from death with incredible power.

He can control his body, his mind, even life itself.

But when he falls in love — his power begins to fade.

And he chooses to use every last drop of it to protect her.

❤️ Chapter Four: Proof of Love

> She became my world.

Not like a fantasy — not like a dream.

But like gravity.

She held me to the ground.

And for the first time since I woke up from that jump…

I wanted to stay.

> She was being hunted.

By the people who tried to carve her apart in that hospital.

Maybe for what she knew.

Maybe for who she was.

I didn’t care.

I made one decision:

"You won’t touch her."

> I fought for her.

My body could break steel, stop bullets, see in the dark.

But each time I used that power — I felt something leave me.

My hands shook longer.

My skin bruised easier.

My breath got shorter.

⚔️ Chapter Five: The Last Fight

> The final time I stood between her and death,

I knew I wouldn’t survive.

Not because they were stronger — but because I had nothing left.

“You don’t have to do this,” she whispered.

“No,” I said. “I get to do this.”

My power wasn’t meant for me.

It was meant for her.

🌅 Chapter Six: Aftermath

> She lived.

I didn’t die — not right away. But I became… normal.

Just a man.

The side character again.

Forgotten by most.

But not by her.

> She stayed.

Took care of me.

Loved me.

And when she asked,

“Why did you give it all up for me?”

I smiled.

“Because you were the only thing worth being alive for.”

💭 Epilogue (New Version and last one)

> Sometimes, I miss the power.

But when I hear her laugh…

When I feel her fingers touch mine…

I remember that I never wanted to be a god.

I just wanted to be loved.
