Chapter 1 The Wedding That Supposed Not To Happen
The morning sun rose gently over the town, casting golden light across the tall white church.
It was supposed to be the happiest day of Emily Carter’s life.
White roses decorated the church entrance, their sweet scent drifting through the warm air. Guests arrived in beautiful clothes, laughing and smiling, excited to witness the union of two people deeply in love.
Inside the bride’s room…
Emily stood before a large mirror.
Her white wedding gown shimmered softly under the light. The veil rested gently on her shoulders, and her heart beat fast inside her chest.
Not from fear.
But from happiness.
Today, she would marry the man she loved — Andrew Lawson.
Behind her stood her best friend, Grace Bennett, carefully fixing the edge of her veil.
“You look perfect, Emily,” Grace said softly, smiling. “Andrew is going to lose his breath when he sees you.”
Emily laughed shyly.
“I hope he cries,” she teased. “Just a little.”
Grace laughed.
“Oh, he will cry. I know it.”
There was a knock at the door.
It opened slowly, revealing Mrs. Eleanor Carter, Emily’s mother.
Her eyes filled with tears the moment she saw her daughter.
“My beautiful girl…” she whispered.
Emily turned and hugged her tightly.
“Don’t cry, Mom,” Emily said softly. “You’ll ruin my makeup.”
They laughed gently, but deep inside, Eleanor felt something strange — a sudden chill crawling through her body.
Like a warning.
Outside the church…
Guests gathered near the entrance.
Among them stood Sophia Lawson, Andrew’s younger sister, speaking quietly to Olivia Harper.
Olivia wore a dark red dress that clung tightly to her body. Her face looked calm, but her eyes burned with something deeper.
Something dangerous.
Sophia leaned closer.
“Are you sure you’re okay?” she asked carefully.
Olivia forced a small smile.
“I’m fine,” she replied.
But her fingers trembled slightly.
Her gaze slowly lifted toward the church doors.
Toward the place where Emily would soon walk.
Her chest tightened.
Her breathing grew heavier.
Inside the church…
Andrew Lawson stood at the altar, adjusting his suit nervously.
Beside him stood Detective Marcus Cole, one of Andrew’s close friends, smiling proudly.
“You look like a man about to faint,” Marcus teased.
Andrew chuckled nervously.
“I feel like one,” he admitted.
Marcus laughed.
“You love her that much?”
Andrew smiled softly.
“More than anything.”
The music suddenly began to play 🎶.
Guests stood to their feet.
The church doors slowly opened.
And there she was.
Emily Carter.
Beautiful.
Radiant.
Glowing like light itself.
Gasps filled the church as she stepped forward.
Her eyes locked with Andrew’s.
Tears formed in his eyes instantly.
Step by step…
She walked down the aisle.
Closer.
Closer.
Toward her future.
Toward her happiness.
Toward the life she had always dreamed of.
But fate had been watching silently.
Waiting.
Watching from the shadows near the back of the church…
A figure stood hidden.
Still.
Silent.
Watching Emily approach.
Emily suddenly felt something strange.
A cold chill moved down her spine.
Her steps slowed slightly.
Her breathing grew uneasy.
Then—
She saw the figure.
Their face partly hidden.
But in that single moment…
Emily recognized the eyes.
Her heart skipped.
Fear flashed across her face.
Her lips parted slightly.
“No…” she whispered faintly.
Before anyone could understand—
The figure rushed forward.
A flash of metal glinted under the light.
A scream tore through the church.
Emily gasped sharply.
Pain exploded through her chest.
Her bouquet slipped from her hands and hit the floor.
Blood spread slowly across her white dress.
Guests shouted in panic.
People ran.
Women screamed.
Children cried.
Andrew rushed forward, catching Emily as she collapsed into his arms.
“Emily! Emily, stay with me!” he cried desperately.
Her body trembled weakly.
Her breathing became shallow.
Her eyes searched the crowd.
Searching…
For the face she had seen.
For the one person she knew.
The killer.
Her lips moved slowly.
But no sound came out.
Only tears.
Andrew held her tightly, shaking.
“Don’t leave me… please don’t leave me…”
Emily looked into his eyes one last time.
Her voice barely a whisper.
“I… know… who…”
Her words faded.
Her body grew still.
Her eyes slowly closed.
Forever.
The church fell into chaos.
The mysterious attacker disappeared into the confusion.
No one clearly saw the face.
No one knew who did it.
But Emily Carter…
Knew.
And as her body lay lifeless in Andrew’s arms…
Her soul screamed in silence.
Not in peace.
Not in forgiveness.
But in rage.
Deep within the darkness…
Her spirit made a vow:
"Olivia Harper…
You took my life…
Now I will take yours." 👻🔥
And from that moment…
Death did not end the story.
It only began it.
