Summary

What if being able to understand everyone meant that no one could truly understand you? This is the story of someone who learned to observe people instead of connecting with them—to read their emotions, hide their own, and become whatever others wanted to see. Behind friendships, smiles, and carefully built personalities lies one question: “Would anyone stay if they knew the real me?” As loneliness, anger, identity, and the fear of losing control collide, the narrator begins to discover that understanding people isn't the same as being understood. A story about masks, human nature, friendship, and learning to see life through another person's eyes.

Chapter 1

People think being smart or knowledgeable is good. It is actually, but before age is a curse. I have always been a very good listener, because they thought I can't understand. Even after I know everything, I stay quiet.

The things which I love is which I can't do. Since childhood I'm not very good at emotion even it's about other or myself. So I have to observe everything about them and learn it. Day by day I have to learn it by some online source or offline practice. I'm getting used to it now.

People very quickly consider me a friend and trust me. Because, I always try to copy people's positive character. In simple words, I just become like them. I'm quite manipulative because I get what I want by being like them.

I have always hated people; they used to irritate me. I know I have always been a bad person, but I used to hold myself back. However, seeing people do wrong or quarrel for no reason makes me incredibly angry.
