Chapter One — Finally, I Transmigrated!
Lily was, by all accounts, an average girl.
Average height.
Average looks.
Average academic ability.
Her financial situation wasn't exactly luxurious either, but thanks to the inheritance her parents had left behind, she had enough money to live comfortably.
Five years ago, Lily had lost both of her parents in a tragic car accident.

The kind who could spend an entire night reading a novel, screaming into her pillow whenever the male lead and his love interest had a romantic moment.
Her greatest dream?

And preferably not as some random side character.

The protagonist.
The villain.

Lily's eyelids fluttered.
Bright light entered her vision.
She groaned.

Everything felt strange.
Her body felt heavier than usual.
The room smelled faintly of medicine, and someone was standing beside the bed, looking at her with obvious concern.
"Young Master, how are you feeling?"
Lily blinked.

Her brain immediately went into overdrive.

Where am I?
She slowly pushed herself upright.
"My head hurts like hell..."
The moment the words left her mouth, the servant beside her gasped.
"Young Master!"
"I'm fine!"
Lily looked around frantically.
A luxurious bedroom.
Expensive furniture.
Elegant decorations.
A huge bed.
A chandelier hanging from the ceiling.
Her eyes widened.
WAIT.
She slowly looked down at herself.
Then she froze.
These weren't her hands.
They were slender.
Pale.
Elegant.
And definitely—
NOT HERS.
Lily's breathing quickened.
"No way..."
Her eyes darted around the room.
"Mirror."
The servant stared at her.
"Young Master?"
"WHERE'S THE MIRROR?!"
The servant hurriedly pointed toward the dressing table.
Lily practically launched herself out of bed.
She reached the mirror.
And froze.
For several seconds, she couldn't speak.
The person staring back at her was...

His skin was pale and smooth.
His green eyes sparkled with flecks of gold.
His features were delicate yet unmistakably masculine.
His dark hair framed his face perfectly.
He looked like the kind of character artists would spend three days drawing before finally declaring:
"Perfect."
Lily's mouth fell open.
Then—
"AHHHHHHHHHHH!"

The servant nearly jumped out of his skin.
"Young Master!"
Lily grabbed her cheeks.
"THIS FACE!"
She leaned closer to the mirror.
"These eyes!"
She touched her hair.
"THIS HAIR!"
Then she suddenly stopped.
Her eyes widened.
"...Wait."
She stared at her reflection.
Once.
Twice.
Three times.
"He's a guy."
Silence.
Then Lily's face slowly split into the biggest grin imaginable.
"I'M A GUY!"
The servant stared at her as though his young master had finally lost his mind.
"Young Master... should I call the doctor?"
"No!"
Lily spun around dramatically.
"Don't call anyone!"
She turned back toward the mirror.
A beautiful male face stared back at her.
Her eyes sparkled.
A beautiful male face.
A beautiful male face...
in what was obviously a novel world.
She covered her mouth.
"Don't tell me..."
Her entire body trembled with excitement.
"I actually transmigrated!"
She had done it!
After years of dreaming about it...
She had finally transmigrated!
And not only had she transmigrated—
SHE HAD BECOME A MAN!
Lily nearly cried from happiness.
"Finally..."
She wiped the tears from her eyes.
"Finally, I can achieve what I could never accomplish as a girl."
Her fists clenched.
Her eyes burned with determination.
"I CAN FINALLY BE GAY!"
The servant:

Was his young master perhaps suffering from a fever?
Lily didn't care.
She was too happy.
Then a thought suddenly struck her.
"Wait."
Her expression became serious.
"If this is a transmigration novel..."
She looked around suspiciously.
"There should be a system."
Her eyes narrowed.
"System?"
Nothing happened.
Lily waited.

Silence.
"System?"
Still nothing.
She placed her hands on her hips.

Lily froze.
Her mouth slowly opened.

She jumped onto the bed.

The servant looked ready to faint.
Lily ignored him completely.
She mentally focused on the strange voice inside her head.

[Host, please lower your voice.]
"I don't care!"
Lily's eyes were shining.
"Give me the plot!"

"And make it good!"

"I want to know everything!"
[Processing...]
Lily clasped her hands together.
"Most importantly..."
She grinned.
"Please tell me I possessed either the villain or the main character."
The system went silent.
Lily's smile slowly disappeared.
"...System?"
No response.
"System?"
Still nothing.
A strange feeling suddenly crept into her heart.
"Why are you quiet?"
DING!

Lily's eyes lit up.
"Finally!"
[Identity: Unknown.]
Lily blinked.
"...What?"
[Original owner: Unknown.]
Her smile disappeared.
[Current world: Unknown.]
Lily stared blankly into space.
"...System?"

[Main characters: Unknown.]
Lily's eye twitched.
"You better not tell me..."
[Host's transmigration status: SPECIAL CASE.]
The room suddenly became eerily quiet.
Lily swallowed.
"Special case?"
The system didn't answer immediately.
Then another notification appeared.
DING!
[Warning.]
[The host has not transmigrated into the original protagonist.]
Lily's heart skipped.
"Okay..."
[The host has not transmigrated into the original villain.]
Her smile disappeared completely.
"Okay..."
[The host has not transmigrated into a supporting character.]
Lily stared at the invisible screen.
"...Then who the hell am I?"
For the first time since waking up, the excitement disappeared from her face.
The system's next notification sounded.
DING!

Lily's pupils contracted.
And somewhere outside the room—
A man's cold voice suddenly sounded.
"He's awake?"
The servant immediately bowed.
"Yes, Young Master."
Footsteps approached.

Steadily.
Lily turned toward the door.
The handle began to move.

The door opened.
And the moment Lily saw the man standing outside...

Okay, this is a really good opening! And I already feel so bad for Lily, especially after losing her parents in such a tragic way. Come here, Lily, you deserve a hug.
And about Lily being into BL novels... okay, I’ve actually never read a BL novel or an AU related to that before. AHAHAHA. I’m an AU fan too, though, so I guess this is my first time reading a BL story! Now that I’ve seen the title, I finally understand what it means.
And Fujoshi... yeah, I had NO idea what that meant before. I knew it was a Japanese word, but now I know what it means too. AHAHAHA. Okay, back to the story!
So Lily finally slips, has an accident, and somehow ends up inside her own fictional world... AND AS A GUY?! That’s actually hilarious. I mean, isn’t that basically something a lot of people secretly dream about? Suddenly falling, getting transported to another world, and becoming the person you wanted to be.
Of course, I’m not an expert, and every writer has their own unique style. But personally, I don’t think Chapter 1 feels complicated or overly dragged out. The pacing flows nicely, and everything is easy to follow.
I think readers who already enjoy BL novels will probably really love this story. As for me, even though this is my first time reading a BL novel, I really like the way you present the story. Good job, author!
