Chapter 1
A moment ago in peace,
Then another in pain.
What is my heart hearing,
To let go of what it loves the most,
To choose one over another?
No,
The heart sits in its instability,
The mind trying to fathom the impossibility.
Then the pressure from around,
Hitting hard, urging me to let go
Of what the heart loves doing,
For what pleases society.
The earth cracks
As this moment is made
To break the bond of passion
And lay in selfish desires.
The weakening knees fall to the ground,
Unable to stand this decision.
What should the heart go for
Its inner passion or society?
But one thing it speaks to itself:
"I won't let go of what I love
For the desires of men."
