Blood moon

"Actually when i read the initial chapters i was reminded of Edward, except Edward is nothing like Aiden. I would say that your story is unique and like a new breath among other supernatural stories. I wish you would update soon, for i want to know what happens next. As for the grammer and writing style, it is good, but with more improvement, it will get better. "

Tremendously Enjoyable and Addictive

"I have to admit that the title scared me a bit: I was expecting to see a lot of horror stuff as I dived into the depths of the story. I was wrong! The title might entice you to think that this story is utter horror, but it is less scarier than you might think. Which is one of the reasons why I fell head over heels in love with it! I can’t wait for the next update to be released. I am always checking my notifications, hoping that I will see the latest chapter and what it has to offer. There are a few scary elements which beautify the plot rather than distort it. The author has mixed tension and unpredictability brilliantly well. If you haven’t read the first chapter, stop reading this review and check out what I am bubbling about. I give the author a high five! "

Very Nice

"I'm really enjoying the story so far. I agree that it would be better if the reader didn't know that the new students were vampires. Its would make it better if it were revealed to the reader as it was revealed to the main character. I was afraid, when I first began reading, that this was going to be similar to other vampire stories (ridiculously beautiful people without flaws,) but the writing style and main character set it apart. Overall, I really like this book and I hope it will be finished."

Mystery and More

"Blood Moon was an enjoyable and easy read with great potential. Sage develops nicely throughout the story and, along with the plot, keeps the reader interested. You know how to hook your readers and keep them in suspense, that's a technique you've mastered. Your dialogue is very realistic, some of it comic in form - well done. The grammar and punctuation need improvement but you can fix your errors and focus on your areas of need. The periodic mystery really keeps the reader hoping to learn more. This story shows great promise - keep writing! -- Brittanny Davis"

Blood Moon

"I am going to be honest in my review. Please do not take this to heart, but I would like it if you at least heard me out. Thank you, The title was inspired! The cover suited it in a weird kind of way, which is super-cool! The plot was awesome! How you began the first chapter was mind-blowing! But, what came next was rather unexpected. I mean, the normal text (after the bold Prologue-like narration) started off really good. But then, there were a lot of grammatical mistakes. The tense also kept changing in some places. Overall, by the end of the chapter, I was only more than a little thrilled about the story. I honestly feel very bad for saying this, but it's true. It's how I felt. However, with an improvement to the execution of your plot, this story will be fantastic! Keep going and keep writing! You'll soon know how to improve yourself! The word-choice was superb and you didn't use any "big words" unnecessarily, which is something not many authors can prevent. So, you did a great job there! Keep it up, learn from your mistakes, and do, do keep writing! The world needs the kind of stuff you're willing to provide!"

Interesting

"Although this story is interesting, it seems like a book after Twilight's own heart (because of the vampire boyfriend . . .) Otherwise, I like the writers style, and am interested to read more from her! Here is my story: https://www.inkitt.com/stories/adventure/223223 Would you mind dropping me a review?? Keep writing! -Adie"

Great Start!!

"You are definitely off to a great start! There's a few grammar and punctuation issues but overall it's really good! I would be careful on where you go next with the story, if you aren't careful, it could resemble Twilight a bit and some people can be really touchy about it."

For everyone who likes vampire romance, this is perfect

"This story is perfect for people who enjoy vampire romances and sarcastic female main characters. I'm going to start off with a few points of criticism: - You start your story basically by giving away all the mystery of the first few chapters. Chapters 1-6 are about everyday life and meeting Aiden, who I assume will be the male romantic lead, but there's no suspense because we already know he's a vampire. - While the plot in its basis is compelling (woman meets mysterious new guy and falls in love), there's a lack of sympathetic relationships to build the plot from. I feel like your main character's sarcasm topples over into just being hostile a couple of times, and it does't seem like she likes her best friend very much. It's hard to sympathize with her. - The introduction of the vampires felt a bit anti climatic to me. They were introduced all at once, which is hard to keep track of, and while it's clear they're supposed to be beautiful, I'm not sure why. I would've like some more description of the features that made them beautiful. (Also, why are they all in the same class if they're different ages?) And now for some positive points: - The friendship between Mari and Sage works really well when Sage isn't thinking bad things about Mari. I liked the scene where Sage describes Mari's hair. I also love that the emphasis is on Mari's bravery (cutting and coloring her hair) rather than her just being beautiful, which is a tendency in YA fiction. In general, I like Mari. - I like that you manage to weave some comedy in at times. That's really hard in written form because you don't have tone and sound to work with, but you convey tone very well and so the comedy works. - It's fun how Sage and Aiden keep running into each other without really having conversations. It seems pretty realistic that they wouldn't just start talking all of a sudden. It'd be interesting to find out how they finally get to know each other. All in all, a solid YA romance with a lot of potential. All the best to you and your writing!"

Good Potential

"Ok so first the cons -- Personally I am not a big fan of the language. I personally don't like foul language, unless there is a really good reason for it, and even then I am not a big fan of it. -- Some easily fixed typos. Not a major issue, but some easy errors to be fixed. Now I will leave you with the good points --The author has a style that is easy to read and draws you in. -- I only had 5chapters open that I could read, so I don't know if thats all there is or not, but I was curious as to what will happen. --Finally I think the book could be good. It has a good story there, and potential for what could happen."
