The Best Kind of Frustrating

"I found this frustrating because very little of what the people in this story experienced was given any context at all. A few questions are answered, but a hundred others are left up to interpretation. Without giving anything away, I will say that my frustration became acceptance when I got to the end of the story. I think the actions of the main character, in the end, were noble and interesting, and that made the lack of answers worth it. This is a quick and attention-grabbing read. I recommend it to anyone interested in dystopian worlds."

"It was very intriguing! The story kept me wanting to read on and I was very curious at what would happen next. There are a few slight spelling mistakes that can easily be fixed (for example, saying "nth" instead of "ninth" or "9th.") And I did feel like it was being rushed a bit, especially when you were describing how the 2nd and 3rd years went by. Maybe add a few scenes of what the character was doing, or how she was feeling, to make it a bit more descriptive. However the plot was amazing and your writing style is great :) Keep going!"

"Generally, the one genre that I avoid is horror. Just not my cup of tea. But this one just grips you and does not let go. It was like I was compelled to complete the story! The flow in the storytelling is amazing. The only suggestion I have is that, perhaps, there should have been a bit of a lean-in into what the 'reasons' for the system were. Like a teaser, to make the reader feel that Quinlyn's story will have an explanation to the teaser...do you know what I mean?"
