Life In The Fast Forward
"If you enjoy introspective sarcastic stories, this is defo the book for you. This is a dark story full of cynism and grim humour. I really like how your main character explores every possibility before giving a go to admitting something out of the "normal" has happened and I really like how you describe the struggles that come with all this up to even having her considering that she might be dead. The fact that it is so intimist and also that everyone can somehow identify himself/herself with the narrator makes it a brilliant read. Keep writing, this is good :)"
Gritty and Raw
"What makes this story really interesting is how relatable it is even if you've never experienced the exact things the narrator does. It's the everyday observations that she makes that make it so intriguing to read. The narrator voices the thoughts people have on ordinary, minor occurrences and interactions, ones that aren't voiced aloud often enough. Doctors suck. Medications suck. Casual dating sucks and people end up being remembered as "the ___ guy". The cynicism is honest and, quite frankly, refreshing. And because it is such a dark, honest story, that makes the small moments of happiness she has or the little joys she finds in things even more rewarding. A quick, very enjoyable read."
just read it, feels like real life, but not really which is good
"It doesn't hold your hand, so it is best experienced when one already has a good idea of how real life works, especially if you're some kind of lost and confused teen on the outskirts of society and sanity, Perhaps I have some biased to this mainly because this seems like something i would cook up myself, but author definitely has a signature here. There are a lot of characters that just disappear and reappear in no particular order, we're not really sure if they even left the scene or not, but then again, i think this is the style author was going for, and i kinda like it, coz in real life, people really do just come and go, this was very refreshing, because it feels like something that might've happened or is happening, but presented in a way that still has the filter of magic that youth bestows, its kind of over the top, but not too much, overall, it hands you a mixed bag of feelings, it lives up to its title, so yes it is in fast forward, then suddenly hits a stop at some point that seems to still be in the middle of something. It is a story that puts faith in the reader's own intelligence and creativity, while being kind of silly yet sad, painful yet inspiring at the same time, idk, i aint no expert fam, lol anyway, its not too long, go give it a read it just might be that quick fix you were looking for :3"
Diary of an unguided life
"A very interesting short read about a young life's struggle that feels IRL. The very upfront first person style is more like the reader is listening to someone give a summary of their life rather than reading a narrative. I liked it because life doesn't have a plot. The struggles were met, temptations fallen to, changes made, and despite the almost apathy of the narrator in some parts of the reciting, the reader still feels for the MC..."
