Summary

Emily is the beta's daughter. Always a jolly girl and kind soul, she is liked by everyone. But does Fate allow anyone to have happy, trouble-free life? This path, called life, is throwing some huge rocks at Emily. A particularly huge one, according to her, is having three mates. Is it even considered one, though? A revelation disturbs the delicate balance of her life and throws everything, as she knew it, out of the window. Shove in an oracle and her prophecies, one jealous ex-girlfriend, a few gods, one annoying enemy... and what do you get? A recipe for disaster, chaos and confusion, thrown all together.

Chapter 1

I entered Klara’s house and almost tripped on the new rug thrown on the floor. Gosh! Klara is such a tomboy. “Klara! Are you there?”

“Why the hell are you yelling? Just come upstairs.” She shouted from her room.

I climbed the spiral staircase to her room and was about to enter when I spotted a flowerpot outside her door. How did her mom make her keep this, considering her daughter’s distaste for flowers? With a simple shrug, I opened the door.

To my surprise, her room was clean and organized; not one speck of dust lingered. I must’ve entered her sister’s room. I turned around to exit when she pulled me in her room and threw me on her bed.

“Why are you leaving? Did you forget? Do I need to remind you?” she chirped, which was her, years ago. We’ve all changed since that day.

“Who are you, and what have you done to my friend?” I said, preventing my playfulness into my tone.

“I’m still the same. The change you see is courtesy of my mother. She’s preparing me for the mating ceremony. She said that if I continue being a tomboy, my mate will reject me on first sight,” she explained, twirling a strand of her black hair somewhat absent-mindedly. Her blue eyes were distant, thinking of a memory.

“No, but that’s wrong. You should be yourself. Your mate should accept you for who you are. At least, he won’t be shocked when you turn into a tomboy after he has marked you.” I put her hand to rest, but I pulled mine when her pink bracelet poked me.

“Well, my mum will understand me,” she said, sarcasm dripping from every word, which made me stifle my laugh.

A bird tweeted, and as Klara went to open the door, I scanned the surroundings of her new room. I approached her wardrobe and smiled. Well, at least her closet remained faithful to the tomboy I know. Klara returned with William and Whitney.

“William, why the hell are you here unless you changed your gender overnight. Did Whitney force you? Maybe she wanted to try new sexuality?” I mock, glaring at Whitney, who wore my silver hairband to stop her brown hair from getting into her eyes.

“Oh, shut up, sis. You and I know that’s not true. Will is here to drop me off, so please, refrain from saying such things to others,” she said in a mock British accent, making weird shapes with her lips.

Will left the room, taking a soda bottle with him. After that, Alexandra entered, wearing her favorite blue dress, which matched her stormy eyes.“Hey, guys! How are you? I hope you are fine. Cuz if you are not--”

“I’ll kill the one who made you not fine,” we chorused.

“Come on, Alex, find a new line. I remember this line by heart now,” Whitney said, rummaging through Klara’s closet. Her earrings jingled with every movement of her head. “Klara, what will you wear for the mating ceremony, and please, don’t say you’ll wear this.” She held out a green dress with a flower on the top and lace at the hem.

“What’s the problem with this dress?” Klara asked, raising one eyebrow.

“Gosh, you’ve worn this dress to every party. Everyone in the pack can tell the exact details of it,” Alex said, twirling the dress. “What do you say, gals? Shopping spree?”

“Yeah, sure. We’re going to the mall, anyway,” Jade said, entering the room with her mate, Andrew. “I even brought my hanger.” She pointed at Andrew.

“Hey, Whit! Alpha said to have a sleepover either at my house or your sister’s, as he’ll be out of town to buy materials or stay at home. Your wish. You are the Future Luna.” Andrew mock bowed.

“Andrew!” Whitney glared at him. “How many times have I told you not to call me that?”

“Let’s go shopping before WW3 begins here,” I said, pushing them out the room, and in the hall. “Stella and Brooke are not coming, AND NO, Jade, you don’t have any excuse to bring Andrew. My brother will join us at the mall. I have mind-linked him."

My Blacksmith Savior

Vampire: Great story. Clear plot line and very interesting. Characters are lovely and well made. Amazing writing skills and grammar. Only thing that was a little bit too much is the repetition but I guess it's a writing style? Anyways I love it definitely recommend it!
