I loved this story ive been through a similar situation so o can relate to this its so crazy needless to say my babby daddy is a woman beater so i left him and 2 monoths later fell in love with his best friend and now he helps me raise my son while the daddy live in wisconain with his new baby lol and the first baby mama is a whole nother story lol
"I would recommend this book to people like myself, who have been in similar situations. Also those who don't know what it's like to be in love with your abuser, or at least feel like you are. what I like most about this book is, it actually details how most us people feel while in this kind of situation "

I loath romance books because their always cliche, predictable or unrealistic but what you have written is desirable, it goes deeper than just eroticism but the core of romance that is slow and its making me feel fuzzy feelings and I hate it! You have truly written quite the piece here, I'm excited to read more."

Wow, surprisingly good for a romance drama.
"I never been much into purely romance drama's. But I got to say I quite enjoy this one. Seeing Eve going though up and downs in life and a relationship that turns sour, I pretty felt sorry for Victor near the end though quite happy how it all turn out. Through it all I found myself being pretty empathetic towards Eve the whole time, and really understand the emotions she was going through. You really captured the emotions in the characters in a way that really makes readers understand and the way you tell it is really well descriptive. The letters to Roseanne reminds me of the time my cousin made me stayed up all night and watch up to two seasons of Roseanne with her. So I was really surprised that there was something I actually know quite a bit about. Overall you done the story in a really good way that made me feel for the main character. This is a really good story and good job on pulling on my emotional strings through it all. "

Just magical
"Love it. I have always been a lover of this genre. So believe me when I say that I have read quite a few novels in this field. And I would like like to say this is definitely a must read for anyone who likes to feel in extremes while reading. I love the way you designed the characters. I have connected to them in ways I can't express. The female MC makes is a phenomenon. Your writing style is good too. It describes an image very clearly so readers have an idea of what you are wanting them to see but it also leaves enough space for readers to create their own imagination. The flow is good too. You just have a few minor punctuation errors and a little switching of tenses. Though I had the same problem at the beginning of my first book. So it's not something a little editing can't fix. I honestly recommend this to any reader who likes the romance genre."

"I do quite like your writing style. Enough description for your writer to have a decent vision of the surroundings and the inner workings of your characters (using switching first-person perspectives). I also quite like how you portrayed Eve's mind, and how it crumbled on occasions to make her feel crazy. Your details also don't bog down the story, or the pace of the chapters. I have a minor tip though: While I was reading through your chapters, I noticed some minors 'faults' (not really fault, more like details). Like ',' missing or words that suddenly change from present tense to past tense and back. However, if you don't look for them, the reader barely notices them, so that isn't an issue! All in all, a most excellent read!"
Very Emotional read
"I couldn't put this down. Just when you thought you knew where the story was headed, it dragged you into a totally different direction. I was honestly a mix between smiling too hard my face was about to crack to needing tissues as I read this. The characters make up was fantastic and wonderfully diverse. The situation the Writer chose was a difficult topic but wonderfully handled, including handling people's emotions and not leaving it to the impression that there is only a wrong party who does things because they are bad. The more you read, the closer you become to the characters until reaching the end I felt I had just finished a journey with a friend I would never see again and that I already miss. REally wonderful work."

Feel The Burn
"Love Is A Slow Burn is a romance filled with the push and pulls, ebb and flow, and ups and downs of romantic attraction, desire, pain and, ultimately, of self-preservation. Eve struggles with her past as she navigates her way through life, with the narrator showing her thought process as she experiences the uplifting highs and devastating lows of an abusive relationship. This story contains neat plot devices, such as intimate journal entries scattered across multiple chapters, as well as recurring themes (secrets, forbidden desire, the passage of time) or objects (scrubs, for instance!) that lend a solemn but whimsical feel to the overall plot, but this isn't to say the story is solely light-hearted for an emotional intensity continues to mount as the plot builds, gently reaching a satisfying conclusion."

Oh My God!
"Oh my god! This was such an amazing story! I have no words. Honestly speaking, I don't read stories that have more than one male lead or where female protagonist ends up with someone other than the person I'm shipping her with, i.e, Victor. As a lover of a perfect romance, I would say, I was a bit disappointed at the end and felt sad for Victor. But as a girl and a human, I believe it was the most perfect choice she could make. I was literally crying during so many parts of the story and I honestly want to say, I've never loved a story more than this. I still can't get over the fact that it was so beautifully written and so wonderfully expressed. It was very relatable and realistic as well. I am writing this review... because well... I am writing it but if you asked me to speak about the story right now, I wouldn't be able to. My throat is clogged and I can't speak. It's that wonderful. I usually find some or the other criticisms with most stories and I've never give a 5 star on all 4 criteria but this book was PERFECT. Loved it. Absolutely stunning story! Kudos to the author. Looking forward to more stories from you."
